First two minutes of this video are the best fragrance content I've seen since the Fragrance Apprentice hung up his boots. Should be the standard disclaimer for all frag content creators - if everyone KNOWS how the game works, we can appreciate the content and advice with CONTEXT. Great work, my guy.

Platinum Egoist IS indeed a masterpiece. I have it since the 90s, it is my wife's favorite and bought it again and used it for our wedding.

In a world where every "Top 10" is featuring the same boring and basic fragrances your "Top 10" is different, it only contains masterpieces.

That "Platinum Egoiste" smells fantastic. Glad I got it in my collection!

Thanks for the transparency...being sincere to inform us 'Must Have' is for the algorithm...I believe we (those who watch you fairly consistently) knew this before we even clicked on the video. Quality content as usual, I love the way you effortlessly describe (vividly) the unique scent of each perfume you review. Well done. Wore Platinum Egoiste at work for a big customer meeting yesterday 😊. It did its job.

Brioni EDP Intense is a very unique sweet/sour apple I’m glad to have it

I feel like eau givree gets pigeon holed as a summer fragrance, but in my opinion, it’s much more versatile than that. It is great as an office scent year round and works well in the spring too. It just might be my favorite in the line. Fresher take on the OG that makes it more wearable for those who find TDH too earthy. Great recommendation! As a sidenote, I would love to get my nose on Ombré Noir.

Eau Givree is one of my 10/10 this year. Tried it on a whim at Sephora and immediately did a double take. Decided to wait a month before buying for prudence' sake and couldn't stop thinking about it. Picked it up and couldn't be happier with it.

Pasha de Cartier Parfum is sooooo good! My first Cartier fragrance. Definitely need to look into the house more

You know what honestly I respect your honesty and value your words because I recently stopped watching an influencer because although I have expensive fragrances I've come to know you don't have to break the bank to smell good Ben Franklin the ones they were recommending what consistently outrageous in price so I just appreciate the fact I've had speculations and now I know most influencers get sent these bottles and can enjoy them and give their honest opinions but that experience may be different when the consumer as myself has to pay their hard-earned money for that same experience play Bing it's just unrealistic to try this match the same extravagant collection so thank you for your honesty this just made me like your channel way more

Damn, now I wanna pick up Jazz club and Moustache edp. But, I guess the frag reacts differently with my skin, because the Givree was just too sweet for me coming off my skin. Would own a bottle if the grapefruit was a bit more tame for these high heat, high humidity summers I get where I live. And I'm still trying to hold off on trying Platinum Egoiste. I got too many bottles as is, don't want to get tempted by another masterpiece 😂

Your cheapie recommendation of Sean John 3AM is an absolutely banger, although I haven’t heard you mention it in a while. I picked up my bottle for $15, ended up having to get rid of it when traveling, but I’m excited to pick it back up again when I get a chance. It’s so fresh and cooling in hot weather, I’m missing it in my collection now

Platinum Egoiste is a generation transcending fragrance in my family. It has been my fathers signature ever since it came out in 1993. I used to spray his when i was a teenager. Now i am 28 and it is my most used fragrance out of 20 i have. My girlfriend says it smells like a man you can rely on, which is exactly what i want to be. Sophisticated, undoubtedly masculine and elegant fragrance.

Plat egoiste is one of my all time favorites

You always bring us classy videos, Justin. Great work. After almost two years trying designer fragrances, I guess I achieved what I was looking for. Here are my four currently rotation: 1 - Dior homme 2020: this might sound controversial, but this fragrance is even more elegant than the classic Dior Homme. And it is a fragrance that's still under the radar. The quintenssential woody scent. A minimalist masterpiece. My signature scent. 2 - Hermes H24 - extremely non common scent. my fragrance to go to the gym or running. 3 - Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP - night time 4 - Jazz Club Margiela - date time

Your list is perfect! I haven’t tried a couple of them but others are 10/10 for me. I wish I could try Cartier fragrances because they aren’t available in stores in Ukraine. Only can blind buy.

Brioni Intense is a beauty; appealing but with an edge. I sold my Eau Givree when I discovered my kitchen anti-bacterial spray smelled IDENTICAL. Rather than elevating the perception of my anti-bac, it unfortunately spoiled Eau Givree for me. I have Brioni Eclat for a similar vibe without the anti-bac comparison. Also sold my Gucci Intense Oud. A lovely scent but oud doesn't feel quite right on me. I kept a decant of it before selling, mixed with Boss Bottled Elixir. Trust me, it works. Mancera Hindu Kush gives me similar vibes to the Gucci but with some green and spicy layers which work better for me, especially at this time of year. I reckon I'll have to pick up Lalique Ombre Noir in a few months. I keep hearing good things and very affordable prices in the UK. Two other great but less celebrated designers are Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum (I know you're a big fan) and RL Ralph's Club Elixir. I buy and sell fragrances regularly for affordability and to manage my collection sensibly. But I wont be selling either of these two ever. I have CK Eternity Aromatic Essence on the way to me. I'm excited for this one but don't see many YT reviews yet. Here's hoping it will hit the mark for me. As always, thanks for the great content.

Haven't tried eau givree, but have loved the original since it was new. I was planning on trying the Gucci oud, but haven't. How many ouds is too many? Probably have around twenty now.

There’s lots of love and respect for you here Justin, to which I wholeheartedly and humbly add my name. I was really thrilled to see here some comments that favoured (English spelling!) Egoiste over the latterly released Platinum Egoiste flanker. Egoiste is to die for, and it can be found with some patience. Your patience will be rewarded handsomely in my opinion. Another of my signature scents over the years has been Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme (EDT). I’ve become dizzy with stories of it being discontinued but it still is readily available, almost all of the time. However, I’m dying to see an opinion of the recently released Bvlgari Pour Homme EDP. Any thoughts Justin? Anyone? Thank you…

Such a beautiful scent yes - Egoiste platinum. Old fashioned vibe for sure . I just sprayed it after not using it in ages - absolutely gorgeous . Elegant. Classy. Must have .. ? Oh yeah .. damn its good . Been looking at moustache for an age - still not got it. L’homme Rochas and Eau de Rochas i have - both must have - to me. Pasha de Cartier parfum - damn i should wear this one more . Beautiful , such class - has a rather serious vibe, or at least its not a frivolous type scent. Bogart yes - so many to check out , damn. Good list J , Must haves for me : - Dylan blue. Pure XS ( i got a seven yr old, flip top,100ml , slightly used, projects more and not qute as sweet - £30. Steal.) Wanted by night. Gotta have these 3. I could survive with these 3. actually no. I probably need Armani ph - how could i forget that - for those special occasions. And La nuit, bleu electrique (doesn’t last but a killer date night frag, as is Wanted by night, in my humble opinion) 5 then. Million parfum - absolute modern classic, and what about Kouros - you just gotta have it ( if i lived on a deserted island- no, there would be no one to offend 🙂) where do you draw the line ? .. probably why ive got 80 + bottles, and dont feel it’s nearly enough - you need enough to forget about stuff and rediscover it, not use up discontinued rarities, that’s why u need those cheapies. I think 300 could be enough. If i had to pick one … Pure XS. No , Dylan blue. It’s impossible. Damn .. Ive not been on here for ages ( me bad) , but I guess i made up for it . Jacques Bogart Pour Homme I am on my 3rd Bottle since it came out... Recently just jumped on Gucci Oud Intense (First time some one shook my hand and said I smell incredible and asked what I was wearing) & Brioni I only have the EDP not the Intense version. Since I am Oud fan I will be checking it out. Pasha de Cartier EDP reminded me of Ralph Lauren Safari and so I sold it... I am yet to purchase Rochas Moustache as I own YSL Tuxedo and I hear they are similar. Platinum Egoiste as well, I don't own maybe I ought to try it? but I prefer what I already own which is Animale Animale for Men... I guess one day I'll try the Chanel Platinum Egoiste. I also would love to try the Lalique Ombre Noire as I own the Pour Homme, Lalique Pour Homme Equus and the Lalique Encre Noire... Great Video and content... Keep up the stella work...!!!

After wearing fragrances for a few yesrs now im beginning to enjoy thigns i hated at first. First time i smelled ombre leather and PDM herod i disliked them. Feel very differently now. Hated platinum egoiste so i should revisit it now and see what i think

Lalique ombre noire is autumn in a bottle

Unpopular opinion: Eau Givree and Jazz Club are overhyped.. Don’t get me wrong, I still like them! The opening is amazing on both, the dry down on Eau Givree smells like the original EDT and TDH EDT is my signature scent, that’s why I got a bit disappointed when I tried it out. Same thing with the dry down on Jazz club which also leaves me every time a little bit disappointed. I have hence chosen Bentley for men intense as an alternative and I feel my chest hair grow a little bit more each time I wear it! 😆

I love Egoiste and was going to get rid of Platinum Egoiste b/c I really couldn't smell it very much. I just tried the Platinum again after stopping smoking (420) 5 mo ago and now I smell it. Beautiful. It's very close to Creed Erolfa imo.

Hey man, been a follower for a few months since I saw a video of your favorite Guerlains on tiktok, and you were kind enough to answer my question about LIDG EDT, which I loved upon first smell. Last week I went to my first in-person reunion of my local FB fragrance group, and I two of the best things I smelled there were Pasha EDT and Egoiste Platinum. Haven't been able to find Eau Givrée here in my town, but I already bought a sample of TdH Pure Parfum and am loving it (I live in Yucatan, where everyday it's over 100º F during May); currently my hot weather rotation is TdH Pure Parfum, Bohemian Lime and Mancera Lemon Line, and other good hot-weather frags I have are Dior Homme 2020 (still looking to buy the Sport and Cologne versions), BdC EDP and Cedrat Boise... Funnily, I found LIDG is perfect for early-morning workouts in the heat or for late-night outings when it's hot, and for those hot nights I'm also loving Hacivat and L'Homme Ideal Cool (sadly discontinued, but I got a partial bottle through my local FB fragrance group)... Finally, very cool to hear you're a jazz trumpeter, will check out your stuff, I love jazz as well! Anyway, thanks a lot for your videos and keep up the great content, sir!
