I think you need to loose a bit off of the sides, it will help the shape sit better. Mine is more a regulation cut, shorter than the average DA. My barber Tommy learned to cut hair in the Navy during the 50s, so it's bang on. His advice to me though is don't go too big with it or it will just sag and it's way harder to get the height to stay up without sagging.

Could you tell us about your weekly regimen ? That could help us a ton, for example I shampoo every 3 days and wet comb my hair every day to remove dead hairs but I have a problem, If I don't wait my hair to air dry or dry it with the blowdrier after wet combing, it becomes realy stiff the front hair won't interpenetrate the middle one and I will stick up like spikes, no matter how hard I try to comb it, just won't stay down. Any help ?

Zane Richter nothing to drop, 5 minutes is really nothing, get up earlier if you want the style bad enough. just seems a sappy excuse to me that you don't have the time... I respect i have no idea how busy you are, but the vast majority of people in the west in the modern age claim they're to busy to better themselves (gym, looks, dating etc.) when its normally laziness.

I can only think of two possibilities off the top of my head. Either the hair may be too short. Or you'll just have to train it in. There are little concrete rules for part locations...whatever works for you may be the one for you.

Buy a small fuzzy/textured towel. This is will for wiping your hands and comb clean. Just squeeze over the comb and pull along the tooth (so perpendicular to its length).

what I do is shower and comb my hair when I put shampoo in. this way I don't miss any pomade in my hair and my comb gets clean too.

+Jason Rk the only solution is to grow it out until it just can't hold itself up and falls to one side.... Yes I know it's hard to grow hair fast and it's annoying and might take months to do, but once your hair grows out you can do this

of course im on the 2 month process, and im a guy who had a medium crew cut style for 10 years im 26 now, and my hair is longer, i can almost slick it back! this is what i did, grow out the hair, get little touch ups from your barber/stylist, wash hair with shampoo and conditioner 3-4 times a week, and the power of the blow dryer and wear a hat or beanie for a few days straight. now if youre going in pubic and cant wear a hat simply let your hair the usually way. i was a guy who used gel all the time and doing this made me use less gel but my longer hair still looking good,
