Thanks for this helpful info. I finally got my OBS & connected and set up my Twitch account with the stream key to it and has been a success with my fans able to finally find me again. I was doing some very “basic-basic” streaming on something else that was free other than OBS, so this is like my great upgrade. Thanks to you, man.

nice and easy no 13 minute video for no reason.

This is vaguely correct information, but there are better ways to do it. When capturing games, display capture will work fine for some things, but most games are going to benefit more from a "Game Capture Source" than display capture. Including higher in-game fps, and smoother in-stream playback. (Also, show them how to disable the Global Audio so they don't have 2x microphones echoing)

@@PuppetierMaster Capture types (in order from least to most efficient) : Display Capture - Uses the graphics memory to render 2 frames of what you see at all times. Window Capture - Very similar to Game Capture, but cannot capture full-screen games, does not touch (inject) into the game files. Game Capture - Directly touched the game (injects) and shows exactly what you see, not rendering a second frame. Also the only way you can Capture full-screen games. Global Audio: In settings > audio, there's a sub heading called "Global Inputs" These are played in every scene no matter what. I personally just use per-scene audio and keep all Global audios disabled. Helps keep stuff clean and not accidentally play game/mic audio 2 times

i have added my twitch to obs and the stream key spot isnt showing up

For me it says that there are no properties available for the display capture. can someone please help me out?

I run Twitch and OBS on my MacOS 12 and I’m not seeing the stream key entry under the stream settings.

@@starman9458 i had to disconnect my twitch, when you do that the key bar pops up, put the key in then reconnect your twitch and itll work, good luck

On playstation you link your twitch account and edit your stream setting on twitch. So no this video is not helpful for what you need

You could also put a video catre card in between your ps4 and television and send the output to your computer... then you add it in obs instead of the display capture...

For some reason I have the stream key but obs doesn't have a option to put your stream key in there for me.

How to make chat pop up in obs

It doesn’t work, been trying but all it gives me is a black screen, can’t se my game in my backround.

There’s no source box for me

I only have 0.22 mb of upload speed :(
