remember to always use heat protectant! nothing worse than the hairdresser trimming off loads of length becuase youve got tons of split ends lol

Haha, so true! I always blow dry my hair a bit after showering so that it stays nice and straight. I actually feel ugly with wavier hair.

When I straighten my hair I try to use as less heat as possible because to not damage my hair and curls, so here's what I do to help you guys out! Basically I go over my roots twice and the ends once and then I straighten it once altogether (altogether as in one section) Hope this helps!

Ik I’m not her but I have rlly curly hair n I sometimes leave it curly n I don’t put things in my hair but if I do it’s TRESemmé. Moose maybe hairspray or a hair oil that’s for damage hair :))

Make sure you deep condition before and then use a high heat unless your hair is damaged

Your hair looks so healthy, mine is bleached twice. Balyage, I naturally have black hair almost like you but now my roots are bleached to caramel brown and my ends are more like caramel blonde or light blonde❤️ I asked my hairdresser to make my hair look Selena Gomez hair that she had a couple of years ago and it looks like that still but now my roots are growing in so fast😭

I'm a dude trying to straighten my hair for the first time. And I have very similar hair type as you, just not as long yet. Other videos I've seen people say not to run the straightener more than 2 times cuz you're really damaging your hair that way, but you seem to do it several times over. Have you noticed (more) damage in your hair doing it a couple times vs several times?

got a brand-new straightener today at the mall and I wanted to do more research on using it! (The brand is Soleil) It’s an investment, but the tech is all cutting edge. ceramic plates, ionic, and infrared. My hair is long, thick, and frizzy. and it HATES holding a curl. (my last styling appointment took 2 hours on a half-up half-down bc I watched the poor stylist turn the heat all the way up, cover me in clouds of hair pray, and the second the iron was no longer in contact with my hair, the curls fell right out) But the Soleil straightener was MAGICAL. She did one pass on my hair and it held up even when we combed it thoroughly, she’d muss it up to where I was convinced it was done for, and then with a simple twirl around her fingers, the curl would bounce right back like nothing. I’m still so stoked about it. I’ve done my fair share of research on hair tools and was starting to accept nothing short of chemical relaxers would (or could) tame my locks until today…
