Nice tips! I use a lot of green onions, so I usually just dice them and store them in a tupperware dish.

how long is this good for?

I cut the root part off and replant them, then they grow more onions.

I just dehydrate them before they go bad if I’m not going to use them. I’m a fan of the window with a mason jar and a bit of water method.

So after you put them in a paper towel & then a baggie, do you put the bag or the container in the refrigerator?

I don't mean to be rude but I really need advice for where to put those green onions that are always lying around, but if I did any of this it would look like a bombs gone off in the fridge

So I tried out the mason jar method and unfortunately it didn’t work for me. The green onion leaves browned and withered away quickly and new leaves also did not come. Maybe the result depends on climate conditions but for me, cutting them and storing in the refrigerator in a Tupperware box is by far the best method.
