Everyone will always have an opinion to how others do things. Just like you have people who love glocks and that’s all they have or sig people is all they have. You do you and what works for you!

Just my two cents, if at all possible, I avoid the loose pack. Only because I took a 1400 count bucket of Remmy and checked it for loose bullets in the case. I found over 400. that is a lot of bullets at risk. I understand it when that is what's there, I try to buy the CCI and such in the hard cases. When hunting I prefer the good stuff, but one day it may come down to that bucket of Remmy. Also the bucket was short 125 rounds.

That bucket of bullets is the worst ammo I've ever shot. That's including ammo that was used during the breakup of Yugoslavia

I use cans as well. 40mm work great for boxes of 12 gauge. Fat 50’s hold Ar mags upright. Then I have an assortment of 30 cal and 50 cans. I like to keep the can weights around 30 lbs. makes them easier to move.

I use ammo cans but keep ammo in factory boxes, also I consolidate... For example... boxes like 9mm Blazer I open two boxes dump all the ammo out of the trays and then place 100 loose rounds in one Blazer box, and they fit basically to the round perfectly... and when doing it I just make sure lot numbers are the same...Probably would only recoup cost on a recall of only each box of 50, but I'm more concerned with function rather than cost... Plus I just like the grab and go that a box brings. There's a brother on KZread in Hawaii that dumps all his ammo in cans and on one ammo haul he scored some battle packs... Pulled out his knife and started cutting them open...I was screaming _noooooo not the battle packs_ .... 😆👍 Thanks again n God bless

I do same as you, but keep them in the boxes for organization and lot numbers. Not to mention if I ever want to sell some for something else I want the box.. Like recently I sold some M855 to buy more heavy OTM.. Would have been harder to sell loose, at least in my experience.

I try to keep things in the original box so there's no confusion if I ever barter or sell in the future. But they sure do take up a lot of extra space in the cans . Anything above 9mm comes in unnecessarily large boxes for some reason .

Yup everyone does it differently. Im huge on lot #'s cause ive had a explosion of ammo before and at the time having the lot # and original box saved me. The company replaced my firearm and gave me new ammo. Desiccant pouches is like a must for ammo. If i have different brands, weights and lot #'s ill vacuum pack the ammo with the end of the box and lot #. Or just keep it in the factory box. I mainly try and get ammo in bulk to keep the randomness down and make storage easier but thats not always possible.

I've found the AM has dropped in quality between pre and post CV19. I'm now adding Aguila as it seems to preform better, in more rifles.

It's the way you think it should be done. Getting shook by comments is part of KZread. I keep my stuff in the box because of recalls on ammo and it gives lot numbers.

Hello again, I stumbled upon your channel recently and l;I’ve your content. You store your ammo how you see fit. I store my ammo similar to you. I pack my target ammo into sandwich bags. I put 200rds in each bag and label them with bullet info. Then they go into a 50cal ammo can. When time comes i know exactly how much ammo i bring cause its in 200 rd increments. My self defense ammo status in its original boxes and they go in a 50 cal ammo can.

Ammo in a house fire will just pop. It needs a barrel for it to have pressure to become a projectile.

The only wrong way to store it is if it is stored where it will get damaged. The rest is really just the random opinions of people who aren't even real. :D
