    Great video ! 1. No body gives a fuck 2. Disapproval is speculation- who truly knows you but you 3. Caring about disapproval or approval is flawed. Once you get approval you fear losing it again . Dope - be aware of social feedback and act accordingly but don't let approval or disapproval determine your self worth

    Ive left so many stupid chat rooms and social circles i used to would have put up with abuse from for years, just for a taste of approval. Its easier to just cut it off and find something else to do. Ive been more productive, and10 times happier just not being in an environment where I was seeking approval but afraid to even speak my mind. To hell with it I ACTUALLY was able to quit once I disconnected from the "network". I have better stuff to do now. I would rather be by myself than be surrounded by soul suckers and shit-lords. And ive been more comfortable finding other social situations that don't require me to sit in my computer all day and stroke peoples ego and pretend not to be bothered by blatant insults and social bullying.

    As a person who has lost 60 pounds over the course of the last several months it’s true that it does feel good to get more looks on the street or compliments from friends and family, but what Julien is saying is completely true and it’s something we all need to keep working on. Negative seeming comments and negative feelings can linger in your head but you need to fight through them and feel good about yourself. Work on yourself and take positive feedback but don’t let anyone stifle your journey and don’t waste time on what a friend or stranger said that might have hurt your feelings. It doesn’t really matter in the long run. Take advice but don’t worry about aligning up to anyone else’s goals for their life.

    The things we hate about other people tend to be the things our parents railed on us about. We internalize those things as negative even though they're just opinions. This means those people you hate are like you except they haven't been taught to hate that part of themselves. They hate completely different parts of themselves and judge other types of people.

    Narcissism is technically, if you want to get totally 100% truthful and exact, which definitely doesn't hurt, the LITERAL INABILITY to perceive anyone or anything as being important in your reality except oneself. Like there are people who actually don't have that ability. So not everyone is a narcissist. Just trained to be self-absorbed. Hope you take this comment in the friendly way its intended.

  • @AndyPoons

    @AndyPoons

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@releasethefrogs narcissism is on the rise and taking a strong effect on western people. Social media is partly to blame for sure. But it's also a sort of evolutionary adaptation to society. True full blown narcissists are suffering from trauma which then leads to them displacing it into others and making them feel their pain. All in all stay the fuck away from them, you cannot help them and LSD is a great way to have an ego death if you yourself feel you care too much or have an inflated ego and feel very self absorbed. Hope that helps

    9:23 So I don't usually watch RSD videos anymore since you guys deleted virtually all the old vids but I have to say this is so spot on. Today I had a manager/friend at work call me a white knight for criticizing his angry reaction to a girl (employee) who wasn't performing her required duties. White knighting is for r/niceguys and incels but I recognized him calling me a white knight was coming from a place of insecurity because I knew that my manager knew she was into me, and I know that it makes him envious. It annoyed me so much because I knew this perception was flawed as I'm not into her, but I didn't know how to explain this realization until I watched this video.

    1. Believing that no one gives a shit about you is a hard mindset for certain people for example like you had mentioned if you’re a celebrity like Brad Pitt people are constantly on your ass and their living is based around what their fans think of them. So it is hard to just be yourself. And in certain culture like African culture is so much based on appearance. When I went there people would constantly make comments about how I dress and wouldn’t even accept me because of it sometimes

    True. But for me, I would wear brand things because I know the quality is trustworthy (or at least I hope so) and it does look good. It generally feels good. I wouldn't go out of my way to flex them in front of people or anything but nor would I hide it. If anything, I'd be more conscious of people thinking "that guy's tryna flex, that's lame" so I'd just wear stuff like that for my own pleasure.
