I read your book. It has changed my life. When I realized that the past and the future doesn't exist that is when I understood that I must live in the present. My suffering has ended.

Hi Joseph, thank you for writing your book. I've read the Flemish version 'Krijg grip op je denken', the wisdom you share is simple yet life-altering.

I had the worst year of my life anxiety wise and something compelled me to buy your book (call it instinct, or the Universe, or the flow). It was a beautiful read. My first thought (or was I THINKING?) was that it was overly simplistic, but the more I read the more it made sense. It was so simple yet so groundbreaking. Thank you, truly.

I am grateful you had that experience 🙏🏻 yes it does seem too simple but the truth is always simple. It is unnecessary to complicate things when the simple suffices and helps us feel the way we want. Much love ❤️

Hi Mitchell, that is so amazing it came up for you in that way. I had no idea people shared books on discord! I am beyond happy and humbled it could help you feel peace in your life. There are few greater joys in life than being able to experience another person finding that for themselves so thank you 🙏🏻 I’d love to know what specifically you did or remembered in order to feel that peace? I’d also write that down for yourself so you can always remember what helped you experience that peace when you need it ❤️ With love, Joseph

It’s so crazy how I ended up here. For the past two years I have been suffering. I lost sight of God/Source and got stuck in a sea of depression with lots of negative thinking and overthinking. Today I journaled a little bit and I vented on how I feel like i’m stuck in a loophole and really just asked God to help me. Something compelled me to look at my kindle library after that and I came across your book I bought over a year ago but never read. Decided to give it a read today and I’m already half way through the book. Let’s just say that you have saved me honestly. I think God/Source put your book in my hands today to save me from my overthinking that was constantly keeping me drowning and never being able to keep afloat. I feel freer and I haven’t even finished the book. Thank you for your creation.

I believe it to be God's hand passing this book to me in the time when I was broke, depressed and highly anxious. I have no shame in admittining that tears flow down as i wrote this comment to say Thank you for this insight. I hope I get to shake your hand one day.

Just completed your book "Don't believe everything you think" and decided to learn more about the author. As soon as I saw your images I was shocked,i expected an old frail man with decades of experience but seeing someone as young as you has made the book even more impactful for me as you are slightly older than me and it seems I could also reach the same insights and mental clarity that you have at such a young age,i don't have to wait to turn 80 years old.

For the past 7 months, I have been on a journey to find my spirituality - I have scoured different sources and even changed my IG content to change the way I see things. I came across your book when I saw someone on the plane reading it and taking her highlighter out and marking specific lines (I have since purchased the book and halfway thru it). What you've pointed out - the absence of thinking - is really a game changer for me. I truly find that NOT thinking (or not obsessing over them) about the thoughts that enter my mind made me a calmer and more peaceful soul. It is still a challenge on some days - but as you mentioned, if we start thinking less and less, this will become more 'normal' for us. I am truly looking forward to learning more about this approach as I feel it is key to sustaining happiness and peace.

Your ability to describe something so beautiful, while trascending conventional dogmas and mystics, is mindblowing to me. Thank you for writing this. Will carry it for the rest of my life and try to share with others as well. Your book will help people navigative through their problems and lives in general for generations to come. Let's just say this was 'a thought that popped in my head', and not something I had to strain myself or 'think' to realize.

Joseph, so many things “Resonated” within me, as I originally heard your Video intro, that got me to purchase your Book. After having read it, I remembered you mentioning that you had done a lot of research, as well as becoming an almost “Professional Knowledge seeker” in many ways for decades, in order to try & find your way in your Life towards living a calmer, less anxious & inner Peaceful Life. Well, in many ways, it sounded like “My Story” I believe I tried almost everything out there, as well. Of course, as you said, it helped (short term) however, Nothing really helped me, as it has, after having read and followed you, as of a short time ago. Now, for the first time I am “slowly making palpable Changes” and I’m actually living the results internally, after reading your Book, listening to your Podcasts and watching some of your Videos. It has truly been “LIFE CHANGING, for me. Now Sheryl Sandberg’s quote, which I had heard before knowing you, and at that time, didn’t mean much, now it really does! Thank you so much! 👏👏👏🙏☮️❤️

I just finished reading Napoleon Hill's book on think and grow rich and it kind of open my mind in a different realm in that many things in our lives have just been confined by our own pattern of thinking ..etc Now i was looking for another book to expound more on this area of thinking and alas ! here you are... I too was afraid of the "unknown quantum" but seeing you going there and you are totally okay means I too can do it .. Nice work though I like how you have simplified the phenomenon .

  • @pinnymusic

Hi Joseph, I greatly appreciate your book and online content. However, I’m stuck on something you mentioned in your video at approximately 5:20. You said, “Ask yourself, ‘What is the thought trying to convey?’ in the present moment, in order to be inspired.” I feel that this notion creates more anxiety and overthinking, especially when reflecting on the past. Let’s say I went through something in the past associated with shame and guilt, and those thoughts have been intrusive throughout my life. Instead of just being in the moment and saying to myself, “Live in the now,” your idea is to try and seek how it could inspire me. Now, I’m in a loop of maybe I have to help other people? Maybe that’s my calling? But I don’t like that whole idea. What are your thoughts? Maybe I misunderstood you altogether? Thanks.

In the same way you can drive a car or play a sport without needing to think about it.

Those videos made of my audiobook are copyrighted which is illegal. What I have done to help those who cannot afford to buy my book are videos like these where I explain exactly what is in the book freely.

Great video, it was really hard to concentrate on what you were saying because you are so good looking😎 I am really interested in this area though, how did you come to be so wise?! I actually just saw someone’s post on Instagram highlighting some quotes from your book ( don’t believe everything you think) which made total sense so I went to look for the book on Amazon (jp) but it’s out of stock :( anything you can do about that because I’d love to have the actual book to read!

I believe everyone is already wise, we just cloud our own natural wisdom with thinking. As soon as we let go of thinking, our intuition has space to surface and we realize we’ve had this wisdom in us the whole time. We are all connected and all connected to the same source and thus we all have access to the same wisdom. I just check on Amazon and it looks like the book is now back in stock 😊 Much love ❤️

It’s not true that there’s nothing bad happening in the present moment. There can be a million negative things happening in the present; a fight with someone, physical or emotional pain, just received bad news about health, etc. How do you suggest dealing with difficulty in the present moment? So many self help people say to just be present. Sometimes the present really sucks.

Nothing is either good or bad, but our thinking makes it so. This was a quote from Shakespeare and it rings true. How do we know if getting into a fight is bad? What if it led to a deeper understanding of the other person or even ourselves? What if the health condition helped us discover our own gifts in life that we would have never pursued without going through the experience? We can constantly think to try to put our own opinions of what events mean to us but that thinking is what causes us to feel what we do. If we do not like what we feel, we can find peace by letting go of the thinking (story) we are telling ourselves.

The book cannot give you the answers. It is only a guide. The answer can only be found within yourself and you’ve looked there. That is why you have found it. Much love ❤️
