I find that mixing low and high calorie days throughout the week actually makes it easier to maintain a leaner physique versus eating the same exact calories everyday because with a high calorie day, you will naturally want to eat a lot less the next day and thus it's a great hack to manage hunger levels. Calorie cycling combined with fasting protocols where I only eat one or two big meals everyday to feel satisfied at the end of the day/week on fewer calories. I do live in a constant state of hunger. But I don't see that being an issue since I still have good energy to workout, take walks, and do daily life tasks. Being hungry is a healthy thing, but when it gets to the point that energy levels suffer, that may be a sign that calories may need to be increased.

  • @giuseppeferrara952

    Жыл бұрын

@@MikeMarshall1411 Oh, I actually use those diet hacks already combined with all the above hacks I mentioned. I just didn't want to make my already long comment any longer to the point that it would be verbose and convoluted. I do love fruits, and even incorporate them in stir fries, desserts, even with Greek yogurt. Also, I use egg whites to make my desserts if I have that craving. Even sometimes cauliflower rice. Oh, and even diet soda like Coach Greg advocates that I drink sometimes. Even then, it's okay to still be left a bit hungry at the end if it's not at a big expense of your energy levels. Being a bit hungry is expected when you are trying to maintain a very lean physique at the lower end of your healthy BF range (I don't mean stage shredded like those pro bodybuilders).

The thing about keto is that you're never hungry. Insulin levels are ALWAYS stable, hunger hormones don't spike, you feel amazing and satiated off little food.

It's true, I've done both ways it's exactly it. Within a couple of weeks without much sugar, I could live on a meal a day and not be hungry. As soon as I would go back to sugar, I would start feeling hungry all the time

Yeah that nice guy image he projects is fake ass.

What do you think about doing stimulant free pre-workouts? I make my own with citrulinne malate, beta alanine, taurine, creatine, and some gatorade for some carbs. Been getting way better workouts since I stopped taking the pre made pre-workouts because they don't have nearly enough of listed ingredients.

Nice video. Just curious coach Greg. I heard Thomas talk about trying Tonkat Ali and he said that he experienced hair loss. Just curious if you heard any feed back on this. I'm 61 and have tried it and I think it helped. I still have pretty good amount of hair and prefer not to loose any more than I have to. I'll take a look at your Test supplement. Thanks
