Im not gonna take it personal because you probably dont watch me. But, I've made 130 videos in the last 2.5 yesrs. 5 of them are review videos. This is my second to have a product intergrated into it. Ive never posted an affiliate link. I have never received 1 cent for my product reviews. I dont have Patreon, I never ask for anything! I hope you don't mind that I'm living vicariously through you. Had multiple hip operations this past summer and fall. It's been a brutal recovery but watching you has become one of my favorite things to do. I love camping and haven't been able to do any this year. Thanks again Kenny and please keep em coming!

I feel your pain, I'm 6 weeks post op for second time on my hip. I converted a van while I lived in New Zealand, awesome time traveling around. I would love a truck camper but far too expensive in Germany. Get well soon.

I thru hiked 1400 miles with my dog. I appreciate you keeping your dog on a leash. My dog had a towing harness that clipped to the hip belt on my backpack. We were connected the entire time. Off leash dogs will eventually find a way to screw themselves, their owners, and or other people and their dogs up.

Todd Adams is a great guy. We became friend's here on KZread and I got him out to the Pennsylvania truck camper rally. He made a 2 day spread of breakfast sandwiches, pineapple upside down cake in a dutch oven, cookies, tri-tip steaks etc... all on the Scoff. The dude is a campfire machine! 😂

I had a Lance truck camper for many years, camped year round in Northern Illinois. State campgrounds always had a few sites plowed out, wife and I loved watching the ice fishing. We were often the only ones on site, nothing better.

is is one of the most underated channels on youtube! Love your content. Shows that your average person can get out there and camp regularly while still working a 9-5.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what I hoped people would see from this channel. I watch a lot of other RV channels on KZread. They are all traveling the country without anything holding them back. I wanted that life! But I'm a single dad with kids at home working a regular job so my kids have a roof over their heads and food on the table. A lot of people are in the same situation as me. They went out and bought an RV so they could have the same experiences they see from their favorite KZreadrs....but realized quickly that van life and RV life isn't as glamorous as what they see on the video's....especially when you only have 1 night a week to do it. I hope people watch my channel and realize you can get out and experience nature even if it's only on the weekends.

I have a Rottweiler (had 2 my Nala passed) and you’re absolutely right. They are loyal if the owner doesn’t move they aren’t moving. My Bella follows me everywhere. I love her to death she’s the sweetest big girl ever. She’s an old lady at 10 years young. Love this breed.

I’ve never been camping but still have hopes! You always make it look like the ultimate peace🦋

I know you are looking for ammo in the fire pit. I had a round go off a few years ago in a fire pit, and it scared the crap out of me. Even though I looked for that before I started the fire. I got myself a pinpointer, a small cheap little metal detector that works great. Also useful if you drop something metal. Thanks for the video.

Put on a Tyvek (white) painters suit, with booties and hoodie - and you can definitely keep warm ... with less clothing.

I bought a electric chain saw 16” for $40 at Lowes. It replaced a Chinese 8” trimming chainsaw, 18v battery operated, that when too much torque, it stopped, you had to pull the battery to reset. It cost $82. So…..I’m good! Wish Mandy liked to be on camera. She is beautiful, but I understand.

When I smoke turkey or Cornish game hens I use fruitwoods mixed with hickory. Such as apple, cherry or pear.

I had an apple tree go down about 10 years ago. I saved all the wood and used it for smoking. It lasted a few years. You are right. The smoke gave a noticeable test that was excellent!

LOVE THAT SMOKER! Who would've thought a turkey could hold those temps in the wintertime. (I'm smoking in the heat of South Carolina and holding 225 can be an issue. Not sure why yet but its my reality.) Thanks for letting us know and glad you and your wife had a good time. I don't know why but sometimes I feel like a walking commercial. I'm just wired to show and tell everyone about the things I'm excited about. I see people are getting their undies in a bunch about it. I'm thankful that you too inform us on such matters. If people gripe about it, that's ok. Your channel will attract like minds. The ones that gravitate to your content will become your tribe. The others are free to go. In Canadian Provincial and National Parks, they do the same, they leave logs and trees for wood. Bring a chain saw, not a hatchet, cuz some can be 12” in diameter.

Lol, thanks. That oven worked well to control the heat. It would have been a complet different story if I didn't have that smoker.

I do a bunch of webber cooking and turkeys and chicken, pheseant do take but a couple of hours smoking that way. Rare occasion it's 3hr. Always fun watching and great weather we are having this time of year. This weekend free camping at all state parks. ✌️ ☮️ 🕊

My wife and I watch a lot of KZread channels and try to take in as much as we can. Out of all the channels we watch I really appreciate yours. We ave a 2018 Eagle cap 811s on a 2015 Ram 3500 crew cab SRW. We pay attention to all the little things that enhance the camping experience. We are camping in a Pennsylvania state park over Thanksgiving weekend and I can now appreciate why you go out of the way to camp in peace. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Lol. I few weeks back I had a couple set up a sweat tent on the shore of the lake. Not to far from me. They wanted a quick sweat and dip in the cold water. Thay invited me in...but I passed. It looked super relaxing, but im not sociable enough to do that. They set it and and took it down in no time.

Have you ever deep-fried a turkey? Not something you'd do in the woods, but some time at home, you might give it a shot. Incredible. Ed

@@KennyOfAllTrades I have a pretty hefty Bluetti set up for my m/home! The 800 watts of solar kept me covered all day and night for the most part, but the cloudy days needed the genny for a few hours.

Good for you rescuing pups....I actually fostered 4 of them before adopting 3....I couldn't adopt my 1st due to me living in an apartment at that time. .

Kenny- you’re the best ! My husband and I watch your channel and love your quiet and considerate personality. We appreciate how you take care of every site you visit and we ESPECIALLY love the fact that you went to a SHELTER to find your next fuzzy family member ! You are good man !!

We are sorry for the loss of your dog. Last Wednesday, the 15th, our 15 year old Shihtzu crossed the rainbow bridge. We still have a house full. 3 Great Pyrenees, 2 Shepherds, and our newest, our Hannah, a Newfoundland cross puppy. They find you. All of these, we weren't really looking, they found us. ive found that that friut woods like cherry ,apple ,pecan work best for poultry and pork that way it dont taste like wood ash , cook low and slow , wrap it foil to rest.look for thered edge smoke ring .its done and delishious maybe inject with soft melted butter you cant fail .

Hey, don’t beat yourself up. Cooking on a fire is the hardest way to cook. Hard to regulate heat. Thats why they don’t do it on cooking shows. Pro chefs will overcook on a fire.

Love the video. That camp oven is a great idea and I might have to get one. I need a good tripod setup for using the fire pit to cook. I appreciate the product reviews if they are done right and you seem to do so. I want people to give us good, honest advice on things for us to use. There is so much out there it's hard to decide.

Aside from the cost of installing a solar system on your camper, I think once you had a decent system ( for the size of a camper roof that is, which might be 400 watts if you have room ) you would not regret having it, no it wouldn't power your air con but what it would do is always be actively charging as long as there is sun and no snow on the panels. Beyond that, it seems that the DC to DC charger systems have become a thing as the amount of charge that the alternator puts through the piddly 7 wire harness is so small and the alternators these days seem to back off the voltage once the engine battery is charged and those DC chargers take that lower voltage and boost it up to a decent charging voltage level along with the amperage charge rate. The problem is with truck campers, where to install electrical goodies such as the DC unit or the MPPT solar controller or the nice readout interface that Victron has ...
