How to Start Worn Out Japanese Motorcycles (1971 Honda Z50)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

First bike I've ever ridden, my 1971 Honda Z50AK2 MiniTrail. What my grandfather who purchased it years ago referred to as 'Japanese Junk'.
I'll get around to rebuilding it the right way some day......

(Me waiting for the piston rings to be obliterated by the full 1oz of starter fluid directly in the chamber) Glad to hear it survived!

Yep, pretty much! That bike has probably survived about 100 cans of starting fluid through it in its lifetime. Years of abuse when it was purchased for my uncle years ago, ridden by all of the family, wrecked, not maintained, etc. Then abused further by me when I was in gradeschool and half-cocked rebuilt several times as a kid with no experience and no money (I did put piston rings in it in 6th grade from what I remember). But, it still chugs along. I'll get to tearing it down maybe someday, but part of me likes it in its current state, because that's how I've always remembered it :)
