Just want to mention that when picking a unit from the 5 star tickets, it is really up to you who you want to pick. There are plenty of in depth guides by fantastic players on who the best choices are and frankly would require it's own video.

If new start on the 23rd and reroll the texas limited banner for double 6 stars pull and hope for them to be texas alter and penance then you are ready to go.

I like watching guides where people beat stuff using all the easy to get low star characters. I'm not even 2 weeks in but all my pulls have sucked so just want to say I'm approaching E2 and still using 2 stars like Noir sometimes. All the 5 and only 6 star I have are one no one ever asks for in the support characters lists. Your squad has 11 more starts when all combined compared to my E1 lvl 40 squad

I don't disagree with your point about taking a lot of healers early on, however, after the core banner releases which is going to be in like 6-8 months all of the good healers are going to no longer be available in regular head hunting. So taking Silence, in particular since that selector is limited in options, is going to be probably the most optimal choice you can do. Long story short, taking Silence with your selector keeps this video current through the core banner launch. Now to make it even more confusing and play devil's advocate against my own point, we don't really know how important the core banner will be to new players. I will say that you can get 6* faster from the core banner than from yellow certificates through traditional head hunting (though you're not limited to doing just 1 or the other). So it seems like new players may likely be encouraged to focus on the core banner over standard banners until they have all of the 6* they specifically want from that banner (or at least enough currency to get them when they become available). Then switching over to the standard banner permanently.

considering he got ptilopsis from his starter banner I would have gone with a different unit. Probably project red from the choose 4 and lappland I guess from the other ticket (who he has, so specter) theres a tier list on who to select on the discord. the start he has is fine, I guess. platinum as a sniper, lappland as a ranged guard, ptilopsis as a medic. silence IMO is pretty useless. since ptilopsis is usually better. I'd go warfarin if I wanted a single target. but for the bulk of the game Ansel is fine but projekt red can be game changing.

@@bloodred255then get yato in 3 weeks. Red becomes pretty mid later on (she’s still more useful than phantom in a lot of cases). I do agree with silence being overkill though. If someone starts an account after yato then project red would look more promising.

Yeah it is nice to see somebody making content for new players. Honestly I think there's so much to tell them that you can't fit it in 1 video. The base for example could be a whole video by itself if not multiples just about that.

Just downloaded the game. I dont think i will like the gameplay (never been attracted to this kind of game) but i will give it a shot nonetheless. I wish i like it cause i dont play a game since like a year almost

Tbh, go into Arknights and see it as a fun game instead of a grind feast is the best thing I can say. The stage too hard? Go to Kyostin, it's an single player game and we have all seen him at least once for that especially rage inducing stage. Most of Arknights is not that hard, there aren't really anything that ask you for extremely good character during the beginning so just pull who you want really, a limited one is just a plus. Don't worry about base too much until you reach endgame, aka when you have too much resources. A story stage can be quite long in dialogue so if you want, just skip it and read about it later or watch a shorten version somewhere. 3* are possibly your best friends if you want easy to use, strong characters for cheap. Just have fun.

Not bad for a beginner guide - it touches on most things beginner players are looking for. I disagree with some points though: (For those who care:) Farming LMD in the Supplies tab isn't very efficient as you could be spending your limited sanity better elsewhere - like for materials. In the beginning you are always starved for LMD, so farming the LMD stages is a short term solution. The long term solution is using your base as your main influx of LMD once it is more developed (with Trading Posts giving LMD for gold and Factories producing said gold). Regarding recruitment: setting the timer to 9:00 when there are no specific tags you are looking for (like Top Operator, Senior Operator, Specialist, Nuker, etc.) is just a waste of LMD - setting the timer to 7:40 when there are no good tags saves LMD, is faster and still gives you the chance for a 4 or 5 star operator to appear.

the sticking point here. is 'chance' if 9 hours was the SAME chance of 4 and 5 stars as 9 hours you'd have a point. I normally tag a Class tag, defender, and set it for 9 hours when there are no good tags. and I get tons of 5 stars from recruitment. so like if its 1% with 7:40 and 2% with 9, and all it costs you is a little extra LMD wouldn't you feel stupid? Not really berating you, just upset that there isn't really much data. I personally will not change what I'm doing because my 5 star rate is worth what I'm paying for it. picked up 26 yellows this week from max pot Mayer and Astesia at least.

i just recently got enlightened by the fact that you can get 6*s for free from events. is there a limit to how many times past events rerun? i would really like a gladiia 😔

Roughly at 5:00 he talks about record restoration. That is the main way to get past event limited rewards. Gladiia is from the under tides even, where the rerun already happened and record restoration is not available in CN yet. That means it's probably around a year until we get access to her again.

Almost a week in, and i got Surtr with the free 10 summons (Penance too 60 pulls in), good start? Also, i find myself to be always broke in terms of LMD, which is interesting since in most gacha games you're supposed to have many currencies.

You want correction of your method? I'm say this a bit help but not really close to... First, you underestimate the dev.. (you asking why?), I heard that you despise Durin because it's 2 star oh no it's low rarity it's so weak eeeeew... Here is the correct way: build something that generally useful for your team (i meant: dp print for your dp, ranged and melee arts or not, and support not just medic literally slow, crowd control or even nuker.) and mostly leave some of your resources to low star even some of them are monsters!? Like 12f... Also adding again i don't mind you said having a lot high rarity medic is good well you not wrong if it was old well but early game? In early game i prefer: you either go stall which yes healer is good choice or rampage DPS from physical or arts. Also certain warning, don't let this guy scam you by getting lappy in early game is good well yes until chap 3 and beyond that congratulations that OP you wouldn't never touching since it can only silence and having timing skill activation (ok you lappy simper, come at me!? I dare you all!). I hate to say this did you use recruitment without tags and setting it at max? HAIYAAH... (I'm not angry yet btw), it's okay though but wasting a 100 for random RNG not always good (well you might get specter or someone accidentally). Burning your Originite just to pulls, in this situation, you rather clean up some story get to certain level then buy packs using those originite since it gave more bonuses than just burn it to orundum.. don't be greedy! Patience Here some my advice as new veteran... Buy ethan Build your base as you progress story Grind those rocks and LMD Build those low star OP's!? Don't even think to e2 those six's yet! *I will send you to Jesus* Build all kind situational OP's like shifter and executor classes And since you start here today? There's limited banner with 10 pull free, use that as reset account until you get texas alt... You don't have to get penance now btw Never feared to watch guide like it's not you going to fully copy whole team just the method. Listen those veteran teach you in video and you might became one. If you got dead week, push those story mode stages... Brick? Then grind That's all... (You did well for your first time guiding new intern)

The idea that you should do tagless recruits at 7hrs 40 minutes isn't actually fully supported. There is a chance to get tagless 5* and 4* and we don't actually know how the time impacts those probabilities. So doing 7hr 40min tagless recruits may actually reduce your odds of getting a 4* and 5* tagless. (it also may have no impact, it's just an unknown) What we know is how the time impacts tag drop probabilities and rarity pools. So for example it's advised to do 7hr 40 minutes because it causes 2* operators to drop out of the pool and we know that the tag drop probability is not important if you have no tags. So each person should decide for themselves the time they want to use for tagless recruits, I don't think telling everyone to do 7hr 40min is as automatic as some people believe.

@byeguyssry9431 not that I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. I've seen multiple group organized data collections for recruitment but never 1 that specifically compared tagless 9 hour vs tagless 7hr 40min 4* and 5* rates.
