Haha we are destined to succeed eventually!
thanks for these insights, from someone just about to open my own online art shop. also, I am an English as a second language tutor and have made about 25-30 videos on English pronunciation, so I've come to feel 1000 times more comfortable on video than at the beginning. it just takes doing it. in fact, people who are really nervous should make videos anyway, and just not post them until the day they post one where they feel comfortable and are finally being themselves. it's just a new skill that takes surprisingly little time to get comfortable with. I think I was past it by about video number 5 or so.
Can you please do a video on how you get your art ready to print? Photo, editing, etc. I'm at that stage and feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for all your great videos.
Extremely helpful… I really need to get off the fence and do it so every now and then I click on a video like this to push me further toward that moment! Thank you
Thanks for this video. I started my channel last week and your tips are really helpful. 🙌
Thanks for the useful tips. I started my channel about a year ago. Not a huge amount of activity tbh and I am still way off monetizing it but I will keep going. Maybe I am not making the right type of videos or they are not good enough. The videos that seem to get the most views are about trying to make youtube videos/channels!
Great video! You’re beautiful btw.

Thank you 😊
Just found you and I love your video's! Can you do a tutorial of how you plan your video's, how do you plan "hook" us to watch so long? How do you insert and find B-roll? Do you use a teleprompter or just notes? Please help us
Is the mirror purposely angled to show the “behind the camera” process? Coz it works 😅
Thank u :) is it ever late to start?
Hi Kayla, thanks for the video. I have one question I would be so happy if you could amswer. First let me say I have two main KZread channels. One is art for kids which I have stopped working on because after it was monetized I discovered that art for kids has a rediculously low RPM. It was around 21 cents. It has gone up a little as it is still monetized but not enough to make any real money. My second channel is my fine art, mostly landscapes. This chanel is not monetized yet as it gets very low watch time. My question to you, as someone who has both creating art videos and art business/help artist video, what is your RPM? What is your RPM for timelapse and painting videos? And what is your RPM for the "help artist" videos? This would really help me know if all my effort is worth it and if I should keep going with the art videos. Thank you.

Hi Lisa! This is a great question, and I actually was just wondering this yesterday about a channel I found that does 2 hour long painting ASMR videos. My overall RPM is around $6. I can see that my videos about making a KZread Channel or “making money” have a way higher RPM, sometimes $10-11. My RPM on painting tutorials is much lower, like $2. I wonder how much the average view duration matters. I’ve heard other KZreadrs say that they only make good money on videos over 15-20 minutes. I know a KZreadr who makes 2-4 hour long videos (crazy) and it definitely reflects in his revenue/RPM, which I believe he said is near $30!
