I'm making short films, and at the end of the year, I'm making a production company so I can make my first feature. Great video :)

It's a great time to be filmmaker.

very interesting - the idea of interviewing all these folks with the same ' just do it 'attitude. Some times the 2st step to trying something is the hardest. Distribution and making money from ones film is another matter and the hardest part for many - its the business end of things. I'm 75 this year and still ' just doing it' !

My dream too... especially help developing projects.

I have just started my own production company, hoping to take on the commercial and entertainment worlds. It’s hard and competitive and I receive about a 15% reply rate to inquiries, but it’s worth it. Nothing beats being your own boss.

I am taking the steps to get my production company up and running. I want to make films and television in my state of New Jersey.

I want to start a company that helps indie creator but give them the freedom and choose the projects they want without having to sign a contract to force them into project they wouldn’t want to do.

Loved this inspiring compilation! The stories of these filmmakers who turned their passion into a business are truly motivating. It's amazing to see how perseverance and hard work can lead to success. Can't wait to apply some of these lessons to my own creative endeavors!

Hey guys, I appreciate your compilation however, please do a EQ on some of these quieter speakers. They have such a soft-spoken tones that for those of us who have hearing issues or even just simple, loud backgrounds, it makes it very difficult for us to hear what they’re even saying, if anything, it makes it very annoying and does not encourage me to finish the video. Thank you again and I hope this helps.

What a great idea! I really enjoyed hearing snippets from a variety of people you've interviewed over the years on the same topic. Timely too as I am starting a creative studio to develop my own transmedia projects.

I have most of my basic kit together. I have two separate identities in name before I form the LLC's and such, one for strictly client work and the other for Narratives shorts/features.
