As a podcast producer, I would STRONGLY warn against using a phone microphone for podcasting. You can get a vastly better microphone for under 25 dollars if you do a KZread search. Podcasting is something you can only do well if you’re willing to invest at least a little bit.

This has to be the best video I've watched on how to get started with anything. I've thought about starting a podcast for a very long time but thought I needed to have all sorts of equipment and studio type "stuff".
