Thanks Bro
You can hook up a 1 of RODE USB microphone in USB 2 then designate a channel eg, 4 to make the duo in to a 3 channel mixer. Can do the same with the pro caster ii
Another one ! dope video keep pushing. RODE on the way!!
Thank you immensely for sharing your journey! Your setup is definitively future-oriented, and indeed, there's no reason for anyone to feel remorse or guilt for investing in such a top-notch setup, particularly with the high-quality content you're aiming to produce in mind. A decade back, I was filled with similar aspirations-to create my own show and kick-start a podcast right as they were starting to capture the public's attention. Life's various responsibilities, however, had other plans for me. Yet, motivated by the pandemic and inspired by videos from other content creators, I've embarked on a journey of self-education and have now pinpointed the exact equipment I need. While I'm eyeing a setup akin to yours, I'm thinking of delaying the camera purchase until my project gains a bit more traction. A heartfelt thanks once again for such a wonderful introduction to your amazing equipment.

Just what I was looking for. Someone who is a couple of steps ahead of me to lead the way. I am also going with Rode as a complete setup. I look forward to your instructional videos and your journey. Thank you.

You don't need to throw up "Rode" every chance you get. People will see what you use (so will Rode) just talk about the elements of building a studio. Just focus on creating content, let your followers ask you about your gear. If you want more exposure "#" your gear in the title, so people will find you and the gear you use easier.

Good choices on your equipment. The pumping or slight cut out of you speaking is probably noise gate settings and may be a bit of compressor settings but i do like the way the podmic sounds on your voice. Good luck just starting. Enjoy the journey.

What popfilter do you use? I'm searching one for my podmic which is like your popfilter.

If you like the one I use go to B&H.com & type in On-Stage Pop Blocker for Electro-Voice & that's the one I use. It's very nice
Hi, which is the cable to to Camera to the Rodecaster?
@yemaneehaile

I use this amzn.to/3Pq7qMu & if you want more length I got this too amzn.to/3THA0vx
What pop filter is that?
not one to critique but i hear better sound quality when talking towards the side of the mic at an angle not just directly sideways. maybe a 25 degree angle

That can be true for some mics. It's referred to as "talking across the mic"

I found out that I had processing on & the noise gate was too high
bro
I have zero interest in this. People hate the shiiit out of me. I just don't get it.
Horrible sound quality! How are you going to start a podcast like that?! With all that expensive equipment, I'm pretty sure I can get better sound using my iPhone. Moreover, that sudden, loud and unnecessary sound effect shocked me on my earphones! Had to skip and turn off your video. It is simply terrible. :(

I am so sorry for that audio quality. I had the processing on. It on my default but after watching a lot of tutorial I learned how to improve my audio using the rodecaster duo. Thank you for your feedback I will keep that in mind when I post my video.
