If you have hot climmate more than 4 month, please try to grow ginger, turmeric & galangal. All of those are the ginger family & have similar growing requirement Many said those plant as "green gold" but im not sure how expensive those spice where you live. Many online material you can find, both video tutorial or research paper about how to grow

Nothing is late in life. Farming will keep you busy and will do good to you and you will be good to your farm.

My stepdad and I are planning on starting a farm soon. He gave me some “homework” to research the basics and take notes on it. Your video has singlehandedly answered every question I had. I very much appreciate your thorough descriptions and charts for reference.

Out of respect for my biological father, he is dad. My stepfather and I have known each other long enough that this is understood. Teach your own kids some respect. I’m grown.

out of all the gardening programs I have watched I find this to be the most helpful

I appreciate that your video start out presenting information and continues throughout the entirety without burning lot of time with anecdotes and distracting filler. You transfer a lot of concepts into less than half and hour clearly and concisely including some specific details yet not so much that it distracts from the broader topic of your presentation. I thought watching your video was time well spent.Thanks for putting it out there.

I was doing commercial farming 80 hectares at a time in mexico .... But I switched to more personal growth and approach to people ..you absolutely right.. study your area ..is different types of markets ...good video ..

Love it and thank you so much for creating and sharing. My wife and I recently acquired land and want to create a homestead. We really needed the help in understanding the elements that go into successfully market farming your land

This is the most helpful and comprehensive how to start farming video I've seen so far, but it's a LOT 😲 I'm watching this over again haha Ive got a lot of work ahead of me

Thanks for sharing your approach, very valuable nformation!! I'm currently running a small 400sqm no dig market garden, as part of a bigger permaculture project in Germany. For me it was a really good reminder to meet the restaurant owners this winter and completely plan the next year ahead. So that the amount of grown produce really fits to the demand! Also clearly setting financial goals and then go on from there, like Fortier also says! Thanks a lot, looking forward to more videos ;)

Great content Moreno, you don't often get KZreadrs or content creators delving into the pre-farming stage to the extent you've gone into here. So useful to see how you laid out initial plans based on local research and approaching customers before any seeds are planted. This seems like the logical best way to do it, I would've definitely gone the other way around if you hadn't educated me. I'd love to see more on that if there's much else to discuss. Hoping I can put these lessons into practice in the near future.

This was an amazing video. I grew up on a farm, but that was about 40 years ago. While I love the idea of farming, I'll probably never go back to it. This video, however, has sparked that interest again. Thank you for creating such an interesting and educational video.

I’ve been growing since I was six never used any of these steps but now I’m going pro and I’ve been making about 40k a year on a small scale due to the rarity of loads of crops here

It's enough to say that I absolutely love your video? So informative, especially for someone like me who dream about owning small piece of land, doing my own vegetables and raise chicken and rabbits. Thank you for your hard work you had to put to make little video so rich of informations. People like you are truly making world better place!

@@kokopelli2012 Also, I somewhat jested in my experience. I am no farmer by any stretch, but did grow up in a small country town, where all my friends lived on farms I would spend a lot of time at. Been in the city far too long, and am quite rusty though. Also as a carpenter by trade, I'm a little bit handy with some things that will likely be useful. Still, so much to learn!! Can't wait to move back out to country life!

Thank you Moreno for quality advice, especially business advice, it is often overlooked. I must agree with Samer, you are generous, may it come back to you in success on your farm and family life. So many of these market gardeners courses are so expensive.
