What a great video! And I can confirm everything she says. I used to get mung beans at the local health food store and grew them in burlap or cheesecloth in a colander just as she did, with the plates, everything! 😂 she must have known my mother! There is no comparison between freshly sprouted mung beans and anything in any container bearing the same name. None. They add crunch to every dish, great raw or cooked, and extremely good for you. This video brought back childhood memories. Well done! Thank you. ❤️

I have sprouted mung beans before, in jars, in trays, you name it, but two days ago I followed your instructions, and, wow, what a difference. They are growing so big and straight! Thanks for explaining it so easily.

I LOVE Marie's videos. I am currently teaching some neighborhood children to garden. They've grown microgreens already,,, I recently offered my phone so they could select a video to learn how to grow bean sprouts. She saw this video and got SUPER excited!!!! She shouted "here's Marie!" They all settled in and watched this video!!!! Marie's calming voice and thoroughness with the process makes it look easy. They're ages 8-12. Marie is loved! ❤

I love the way you showed us that the equipments we need we already have in the kitchen no need to buy a fancy one. Putting the weight on the top is such a great tip. And clear out all the water in the underneath bowl is for a good reason and need to keep in mind. Now I just need to put into practice. Thank you so much for sharing. Big heart from Thailand.

Thank you also for showing us the results of how the two different ways of growing them turn out! Great video and I learned a lot! 🍀😊💚

I love bean sprouts so this video is perfect for me. I've grown my own sprouts before, they look like the ones on the right because I didn't know about overcrowding and putting weights on them until your shorts video. I'm so happy you put out a full video with more details. I enjoyed the comparison. I don't have burlap but will use a cotton kitchen cloth. I wanna start growing these soon following your steps. The last time I did it they got spoiled before it had a chance to sprout, not sure what happened...it could be the overcrowding thing. I stopped doing it afterwards but now I feel confident again, thanks to you! I love your beansprout stir fried, I made it after watching that video. It's been awhile though so I need to cook it again, it's perfect for lockdown. Love your videos, your channel so much 😍👍LIKE #16

Thank you for your interest in sprouting mung beans. They're the easiest beans to sprouts. I'm doing this on a weekly basis now because it is easy and quick. I also do green pea shoots regularly. I may be posting more microgreens videos as I'm experimenting different kinds of seeds. I need vegetables and I try to avoid going to the market as much as I can. I'm sure you will be able to grow these easily the next time you do it. I wish you both a great week!
