How to Spray Paint Back Roll Drywall Primer Sealer Undercoat
Spraying and backrolling drywall ceilings and walls is very important to having a quality finished product. There are several reasons to backroll your primer on drywall plasterboard to ensure adhesion to the surface and also to create a uniform pattern finish. it also hides minor perfections and allows an easier touch up to be done later. You also may find your drywall plasterboard manufacturer states they advise you to backroll for these reasons.

Hello which roller do you have specifically? Looks like an interfed roller but if you could- are you able to attach a link? I’ve sprayed and bankrolled whole interiors up to 3 floors but this is helpful when working alone or with only one other person. Also it’s okay to just hit it with the coated area or should you occasionally dip to avoid too much dry knapping? It is the primer coat which is more forgiving because you’re putting another layer or two of topcoat. Thanks in advance! Awesome work!

Yes, dip the roller every handfull of strokes to avoid creating thin areas unless you can keep up with the person spraying then you'll be fine.

Whats the process with tinted primer. I notice on 3 tone new construction the white cieling primer always over laps the tinted wall primer by around 6"-1'. What is the sequence I guess is my questions ? Ty by the way.

Does fresh drywall need 1 or 2 coats of primer? Also, when spraying should every coat be back rolled?

Just one and yes back roll it
Do you need to load your roller with some paints ?
Do you backroll the ceilings also?
So spray roll out any thick lines. But then you have a stippled finish and a smooth finish.

That's why you roll, you can touch up a roller finish but not a sprayed one
1st time running a sprayer? Also, why are you priming a door that's already primed?

@@Maxkil yes its already primed from the factory, just give it a quick buff with a sanding sponge before hand and it will stick just fine
i prefer to smoke a big fatty when i paint
