I use Saphir ptoducts as it is designed for vachetta leather. I use the Nappa leather balm and the Invulner waterproofing spray. The balm is applied before the spray before waterproofing spray. Leather experts say it's good to condition the leather especially if you have vintage pieces.

Def use Apple spray and repeat it every so often. I also used water wipe after being out for the day.

You’re so good about how much you spray. I went ham on mine 😂 took much longer than 30 mins to dry before the second coat.

How does the vachetta weathers after spraying. Can anyone share their experience please. Usually, I avoid vachetta like plagues, but really like the Damier peach Neverfull released recently and so I fell for it 🥰. Planning to spray it this week. How often will I need to spray? How do I spray so I really slow down the patina as I like the way it looks now!

I actually don’t spray the inside of the bag, but I will just use a bag organizer

I’m so glad you did this video. It was so helpful. How do you know when you’ve sprayed enough? Do you completely saturate or cover the entire area of the vachetta? Because it almost looked like the first one wasn’t completely covered….more like misted. Hope I am making sense.

Yes, that makes perfect sense… I think you are supposed to coat it from a distance. Wait 30 minutes and then reapply.👍🏻

Here in the uk I use kiwi rain and stain protector it’s always been great on my LV bags we don’t have Apple Guard here would be interested to know if your keep all get heavy when full 😘

Do you spray it as soon as you buy your bags?

If your vachetta already has a rain spot 😢on it (crying inside) can you still use apple guard?

I suggest doing this outside. I also don't spray my canvas and better cover those hardware.

I hate LV having these vachetta leather. I’m just whatever with all of mine, and they all eventually just patina but still I hate the whole vachetta idea
