I’ve been recently buying superfakes because, in spite of the price increases, the models that I like are getting sold out. And many of the people working at the boutiques are just rude and condescending, so I don’t wanna deal with that nonsense.

A lot of people who would usually strictly buy authentic say they’re starting to get into reps because LV quality is starting to get worse but the prices are continuing to increase. I seen someone do a comparison on a rep and auth NF bought and used for the same amount of time and the auth was wrinkling more than the rep.

There's nothing wrong with counterfeit fashion products, as long as they're not fragrances, and as long as they sell for significantly less than the actual product from the manufacturer in question. *preluxscom* bags are awesome. Prices are all around $150.

I have 7 LV bags, wallets and key purse which I purchased many years ago. Although there’s no doubt that they’re all authentic ( bought half of them in France and half in Tokyo), I re-visited my items and checked the codes, symmetry etc. and I’m happy to say that they’re all “ genuine’.

I agree with you about the zippers. You see a lot of KZreadrs raving about the zips on the regular canvas bags saying they're so smooth and zip up "like butter"! But I don't agree! The zippers aren't bad, but they could be a lot better! Especially for the money we're paying. 😒

I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxscom* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me

I love that you don’t judge the people that buy fakes. I find people that claimed to be appalled about factories in China to be hypocritical . Those are the same people that have an iPhone, iPad, Galaxy phone ext. and won’t think twice about the parts that are made in factories in China among many other goods that we all enjoy. Yet it’s only a problem when when it comes to replicas.

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! It's so annoying when people question the authenticity of your bags. One of my (annoying) colleagues said to me once "Oh, I like your bag. Is it a knock off?"...... It just shows their lack of knowledge of the brand if they can't even tell whether the bag is real. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing x

I'm a high school math teacher and my husband is a SFC in the Army I think we have more to worry about than educating ourselves on the authenticity of LV bags if I bought it in store I ain't inspecting it because I know where I bought it and if I bought it on the streets it's because I used the money I saved to pay for school supplies for my students who are underprivileged..

So what if they "lack knowledge" of a brand/bag????? Its seriously not that deep....I'm a lv collector and don't expect others to have full knowledge of what I personally like. To expect that is borderline laughable. It's like me expecting You to know whether my Arabia pottery set is authentic. I live out in the country and people always assume my bags are fake but it doesn't bother me at all because I love my little collection regardless of comments. I don't think the lack of knowledge is the real issue with your colleague here....

Some are collectors and some have no interests. I have a real Louis but I would not care if it was fake. Not a big deal to me. LA

Hey I bought a speedy 25 in store and 6 months later I was watching your video and panicked because you said about the symmetry at both sides of the zip. Mines isn’t completely symmetrical I went back to Louis Vuitton and they sent it to France for it to be checked as I wasn’t happy at all. The head of quality control sent me a letter to say that there’s nothing wrong with my bag, it’s a hand stitched piece and it doesn’t necessarily have to completely match x x

I judge the real and the fake by looking at who is carrying the *esluxscom* . If they dress the part then it must be real. What can I say.

I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a *esluxscom* bag and it looked just like it.

People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.

The *esluxs* looks still good and 1/10 the price of real one. So many people will choose fake. Since during u walk in mall or on the street no1 will stop u and check ur bag from 5cm distance to see these differences. These differences are mostly impossible to see from more than 1-2m away. And be honest. 95% of these people buy these stuffs only to pretend fancy,rich during a walk

And the stitching one her 25mm one is different from another yt vid, the other one had stitches going across below the screw (?), not above, and the other ytber said it should have 5 stitches. Could anyone explain this?

Also if you apply a tiny bit of chapstick or zipper wax/candle wax onto the zipper while it is closed. It will make the zipper work waaay better. 😉 I put chapstick on all my zippers. It makes them work phenomal..

Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *esluxscom* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.

Great video! I too am an LV collector, and like yourself, I love the quality, pristine detail, and long term wearability. My first messenger was purchased in 2003, the Bosphore PM and it's still going strong in 2019 and looking beautiful. I have probably some 25 pieces in my collection from messenger bags both canvas and leather, wallets, belts etc. Your very knowledgeable and have such screen presence and just delightful to watch. Like you I can spot a fake really quickly but also agree...LOVE YOUR BAG whether it's fake or real and mostly...ENJOY it.

Hmm I think it's good for people who want a taste of designer that can't afford the designer prices. LV, Gucci etc aren't gonna be short of a penny & it's not like they're missing out in the way that it's snatching custom as the people buying those products if taken away aren't necessarily gonna go buy the designer ones. Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *esluxs* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

Hai emma, i bought a speedy bandouliere made in France at LV store 3 months ago. The date code LA 0129 . And the initial LA represents made in USA. Fabulous video... I figured - id have heard everything you've said. However you really taught me things idk and I own several of these bags..😂😂😂😂 Everything you said about the semitry idk and found it soo fascinating. I knew in the 80s? They redid the monogram and made the 1 line always end on the same. However idk the diagnol thing would end on same.😍 But, I noticed my bags all line up exatly like you mentioned even on the zipper like you also mentioned. Idk any of this info..lol Great video. Very informative. I think lv bags are soo addictive. The leather is soo amazing and 1 of a kind. I have serious issues with people knocking fakes so you are a breath of fresh air. I have just watched another person authenticating a bag and she says they have 5 stitches across the handle area, where you show 4 and they almost the same style, which is correct? The code, does it refer to weeks and year or months and year both can not be right? I've seen both being referred to in various videos.
