Thanks for the video dude. Just bought a Blues Stanley cup jersey on ebay and was like wtf is this trash? 😅 Thanks to you I can be 100% sure I got ripped off. Also, huge thumbs up to the Mars Volta hat! Love it

If you are a casual fan just get a blank replica that way as long as the team doesn't change uniforms you don't have to think you are uncool because the jersey you had the player is on a different team. The replicas are more comfortable anyway.

I believe every collector of hockey jerseys have been victimized by sellers and their fake jerseys. In most cases, the fakes come from online and they aren’t worth one penny. The fight strap is one clear sign of it being authentic or not. After that the label on the neck is the next sign as the sewing is all messy .

@@stringsandsweaters Yea, I just got took for a fake MacKinnon Jersey on Ebay for $90.First Jersey purchase ever. Seller won't take it back. Just left bad feedback and walked away learning a lesson.. Not sure if I will ever wear it.. Good video-Thx!

Learning some basic vocab would help ... It's thread, not string. And I doubt the team is made of suede. Also, jist show the various components that you are comparing next to each other. So much swapping back and forth its hard to see the differences.

The dead giveaway is the color in the sleeves not matching the yellow in the penguin 🐧 the color is gold not yellow the colors do not match at all

Oh my god that fake Adidas Penguins home jersey is awful I know where u can by fake jerseys from is DHGATE they sell a lot of fake jerseys if u have ever heard of them

Yes I mentioned DHgate in the video. Their fake jerseys are better quality but the shipping is illegal and could be confiscated.

Hey bro I’m a pens 🐧 fan from Southern California and I do like that Malkin’s jersey plus it’s a authentic with the logo correct. Where u get that one from? Link below please. That fake Sidney Crosby jersey was a joke and I died when they messed up the penguin’s break on the stitching also the number font on shoulder was laughable and horribly done wrong.

@@stringsandsweaters Hi! I bought alot of jerseys on Dhgate in the last few years and I didn't know the shipping was ''illegal'' and that it could be confiscated? I'm in Canada... Most of the time, jerseys are decent quality/price, but obviously not even close to the authentic ones... Price difference is insane..
