How To Speed Scan on Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance AND How to Install Side Imaging Transducer

Aaron Martens was doing this before 360 even. but he had two diff transducers, thought he mounted one higher for high speed. He bragged practice was easier, he could cover more water.

That A-mart video convinced me to mount mine flush with the pad. Went to Lake Lanier for a regional. Couldn’t find particular fish or schools but brush and bottom it helped me be way more efficient.

I will look closer at this! I have a garmin on my 89 Ranger and it reads 2D to 40 MPH. My top speed is 45MPH at 5000 rpm. So maybe at 30 MPH I will be able to use what you are talking about.
Hi. Thanks for the video helps heaps with transducer location. Can you tell us whats the white board made out for that you have the transducer mounted to?
I just drove from Ignace Ontario to southern Wisconsin WTF. I can’t imagine driving as much as you do. Fishing hard for a week combined with driving you gotta be ready for season to be over
