    I' ve seen many videos about this topic, I have been doing this exercises just some time, but I also do tongue exercises very properly and regularly, I swim everyday and make various noises underwater. Gargling salty water is a great miracle to your voice, too. Currently, I can speak quite clearly, fast and loudly. Of course, there are some tiny mistakes when I try to speak some specific syllables that contains a throaty consonants combined with another throaty consonants („KE-GE-KE” or „GE-KE-GE”). Its a problem for me to speak it naturally. But practice makes a man perfect.

I've been told that I have a vocal tremor that is fairly mild at this time, but I wonder how to speak without having my voice break in the middle of a word or a sentence. Am I doing something wrong when I'm speaking that might cause this? Would appreciate any info - thanks so much! :)

    I'm going to share my experience with this topic, I hope I'll be specific enough.... Around when I was in sixth grade middle school, when my voice was changing on it's own and getting deeper 😣, I was surprised at how horrified I was with, quite litterally, the sound of my own voice. So, (very very silly in retrospect) I started to speak as, "lightly," as I could and trying to maintain a higher pitch whenever I was speaking to someone. Not like a cartoon character high pitched but in a way that made me sound enthusiastic about whatever it was I was talking about. It worked a little too well. I think I was so determined to never let anyone hear me with my "true" voice that my throat quickly adapted to this system. (I'm going to try and describe what it feels like when I speak, for reference.) It feels like when I speak I'm, lifting up the area in the lower back of my throat, and holding it in an uncomfortable raised position. I just noticed that my entire upper jaw actually comes forward as I speak, making it feel like I have an overbite. Anyhow, now it's five years later and it feels like all the time I'm straining my voice to be heard, even when the TV is on too loud (definitely not good for you 😬) It really feels like the sound is being forced out. I think that my, "true?" voice that's much deeper is still in there somewhere, because a family member told me they hear it whenever I laugh. I realized they were right, because then my voice is coming from the stomach area (goodness gracious I hope this is all making sense). After speaking with this fake voice for so long, I don't even know where to start to... really just speak more healthy and naturally, even if I don't like the sound as much. Please if you're able to respond I would appreciate any help 🙏

  • @ExplearningCo

    @ExplearningCo

    Try to visualize the sound coming from your stomach area. Laugh and then try to replicate that same pitch. Engaging your diaphragm properly and adequately will allow you to speak louder and find your deeper power pitch.
