I'm a self taught pianist and I know how chords work the major scales all 3 types of minor scales etc. I just really like film music and I've literally got this far from youtube. First find out how chords work, then scales, then chord progressions. It takes like an hour to remember all of it and you can even perfect it. You just need to know some music theory, which I've been diving straight into. Learning piano is one of the best change in hearts I've ever made.
