Thank you for sharing the basics in an easy to understand way. I’m considering PM for culling. Would like to see a video on setting up preferences in PM, unless they have defaults that work fine for getting started. Do you know?

Hi Rachel! I'm happy to hear that you found my video helpful. I have never changed the preferences in photomechanic. I've just used the default options and it works well for me. I understand that it's possible to customize the software to work with your specific workflow. Maybe a good option for you? I recommend checking it out with the default settings first and then customizing it as you get more proficient with it.

Hey Nicole! You can automate your whole first step of importing and create folders for each card automatically. And secondly you don't need to check manually that everything is copied. PM is usually very reliable with this and if it shows green light at the end it means everything went fine )

@@nicolekirkphoto particularly for your workflow the folder sequence in ingest window might be of help with creating a separate folder for each card you ingest, without the need to manually create them and point PM to each folder in Destination
