In the "run" column, if two rows has same "run" number , then you would have duplicate "rank". This would create a problem, there would be duplicate "rank"; and vlookup would return error...

Please clarify your question by selecting any one of the options below: 1) Do you want to copy a cell when you click any one of cell in an excel? 2) Do you want to past something on a cell when you click them? Each sheet linked with the database, when you change any values in the database that reflects in automatically the respective sheet. Likewise the rank concept in every sheet orders the value in the respective sheet.

Hello Sir, Can you help with a small problem. We have an excel sheet. We do know who will be playing who but the dates for the fixtures are not available. The idea is to have a column for each of the following headers: Fixture date - home team - home team score - away team score - away team. At the moment the data with column header "Fixture Date" shows "TBC" for the fixtures for which the dates are unknown. However, as the fixture dates are released, we want the sheet to update and sort by the fixture dates automatically all the fixture data. This will probably require a number of functions working together - but have no clue where to start. Also there is the small complication that more than one fixture could have the same date because there could be 5 games happening on the same day. I hope this explains what we are looking for. Any help would be immensely appreciated. Thank you.

Hi you can use the SORT formula. You do not need any explanation, it is a direct formula which is in the latest version of Excel. Happy learning.
