I have to draw a cladogram.... with mystery creatures, each carrying either a primitive or derived trait, A-G, with uppercase being derived and lowercase being primitive. I CANNOT for the life of me figure this out. If put the fewest amount of derived traits down at the bottom up to the least derived, I can plot them in, but the evolutionary events do not make sense based on that. I have been watching videos and scribbling for over 2 hours. Everybody seems to be using visual characteristics that are easy to follow. I am ready to lose marks on my assignment because I am getting too frustrated trying to figure this out. 😵
