Hi, nice Video! One tip for beginners: before you start watching the Video and solving the cube, try to build the white side. Its not a step of solving the cube but its good to get used to how the cube works and the pieces move.

And then also build the layer intuitively especially after learning how to do so with the video. And also remember that if all the corners are solved, but the rest of the cube is messed up, just keep on doing the sexy move/righty alg until everything is solved but that corner. Then twist the corner to solve it because it’s unsolvable. Also, if you have to switch 2 corners, just take out the edge in between them (if they’re across, just do it with 2 random corners in the top layer), and just switch them and put the edge back in.

I had the Rubik’s cube when it first came out back in 1989. I could only get one layer. Even when reading tutorials in magazines (yes, magazines! No internet.), I could not get it solved. Only by taking it apart could I solve it. Now, many, many, many years later, I am solving the cube with the help of this video in less than 3 mins. after 1 day. Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial!

Hey, Milan. I have been watching your videos for many days and I liked them. But because I couldn't solve a cube I thought to see some tutorials but none of them were simple but your video really helped me solve a cube. Thanks.
Thank you for this tutorial. If not for this I wouldn't have been able to learn, compete, and teach others. Thank you so much.
This was a great tutorial! The intro was fun, so hopefully beginners will stay interested. It’s great that you showed any hiccups that might occur with their cube, but especially in some of the beginning steps you mentioned “like so”. I know it might have been weird, but good job using some wrist turns so that they can replicate it better. You didn’t talk about notation for future learning, which might be good for a beginner tutorial because it does look kinda complicated. The last layer was incredibly simplified, which is great for someone who is new. I never learned using this technique and had to learn hard and confusing algorithms from the start, but I think other people will learn this way because of this video. Who knows, maybe they’ll get hooked and keep going, or just satisfy their need to solve that cube that’s been on their shelf unsolved for years. It was really weird watching him do a sune in the example solve when he had a jperm.
AFTER months of an unsolved cube sitting on my desk I’m finally relieved of my pain😊
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN I FINNALY LEARNED HOW TO SOLVE A RUBIKS CUBE
FINALLY SOMEONE THAT HELPS! bro I have been trying to solve my Rubik cube for MONTHS and now I can I’ve been flexing on my friends too👌
Thank you for this video you helped me solve my first ever Rubik's cube. I did have to start again a couple times because of messing up but I got there in the end, thank you!
Nice! I always feel like it is important to explain how the different pieces move, as most people with no experience don't realise that it is not just a lot of different colors magically moving around the cube. Overall very well, patiently and thoroughly explained! Great job cubehead!!
OMG YOUR TUTORIAL IS SO EASY TO FOLLOW!! Thank you!! ❤
A few days ago it was my birthday and I got a Rubik's cube as a gift from one of my friends (he was a cuber as well). The Rubik's cube wasn't new to me because my brother how to do it, but he had to learn the hard way. During his time, there weren't a lot of videos to solve a cube this easy so he had to learn it through PDF's and all. Now that I got a cube, I anyways needed to learn to solve one, and I stumbled across this video. Never knew solving a 3x3 cube was this easy!
I actually managed to solve it! I have never seen a tutorial that was so thorough and easy to follow. Best Rubix Cube tutorial I have ever seen.

Good video. Very easy to follow and well put together. One thing, at 9:15 when you say the cube is unsolvable if you have an L shape. You can actually solve it. Here's how I did it. When stuck with an L shape. Take the side facing you and move the face right >, the Top left , Right side back down, Face left < and that will fix the L shape and put yellow on top. In my case I ended up with the yellow cross. Try it out and let me know your thoughts.
@animania3155
3 ай бұрын
Thank you, it turned the L shape for me into a dot ❤️
@Firepinfrank
2 ай бұрын
@@animania3155 Repeat the algorithm until you have that L shape and place the L shape in the top left corner and repeat. That will give you that yellow cross. If you don't have the L in the top left keep repeating until you can.
My nine year old wanted to learn how to solve a cube so I ordered a couple speed cubes. It took us more than a few tries but we rewatched the video several times and got it finally. Fast-forward two days and my son solves his cube consistently in the 1:20 range and has a PB of 57 seconds using this method alone! He’s so proud!! Little things like this can really change a kids confidence level and snowball into bigger things later on. Thanks for the video! Edit: 6 days in his PB is 50 secs. Edit: day 8 PB 45 secs. Overall average 1:05. Edit: Couple months in. PB 33 secs. Times in the low 40’s consistently. Get the feeling that beginner method pretty much topping out. Prob need to learn other methods to go much faster. Would be cool to hit sub 30 sec at least once w/ beginner method though.

I think nicklas is hard for beginners so I teach to make the yellow face first with the corners not in the right place using the righty alg then take them out and put it in the right place and repeat until the cube is solved. I learnt this trick from J perm's megaminx tutorial for the last layer but it works on a 3 by 3 and is easier to remember for beginners and one less alg to remember. Hopefully it helps you and newcomers to the cubing community

lol I tried the same thing on my 3x3 after learning how to solve a megaminx, I was like does this works on 3x3 too? then it worked and I thought it is way easier than most beginner methods people taught on YT (I used to use A perm to switched the 3 corners around)

Wow! I am impressed by how good this tutorial. Within 2 days, i could solve it with this tutorial. Thank you so much for making this masterpiece
Awesome tutorial. I was struggling with how to solve the rubiks cube and once I practiced and got my head around the righty algorithm I was away. The one thing i got stuck on was the last part of the solve. You have to watch the bottom right corner piece when doing the righty algorithm and when it is the same colors as the other two pieces you turn the bottom and move to the next piece that needs to be solved.
One of the easiest methods I found to solve a cube He explained every move pinpointly He rocked the video ❤️❤️❤️

14:17 Jeff also want to learn how to solve a Rubik's cube 😂😂😂
The best tutorial I’ve ever seen!!! Why? Because it isn’t focused only on brainless spamming of the algorithms but you showed how to optimize some steps and You encourage people to watch what is happening on the cube. What is crucial to progress in the „cubing” skills. Awesome job ♥️
For those who are having problem in last step, u have to start from yellow bottom corners
I finally finished my first rubix cube I was so excited it took days but it was worth the wait
Great explanation. I've only been cubing for about 4 months and primarily use CFOP. It's helpful that you explained how the pieces move instead of displaying the algorithms on the screen. Eventually it will become muscle memory to the point you can do the algos with your eyes closed. But it's extrememy important to understand how the pieces move to correct mistakes.
People who know how to solve a cube but watched because they love cubehead 👇❤❤❤❤❤
thank you so much for this tutorial because i now know how to solve a Rubiks cube and have been practicing since last night. this tutorial was very useful, thank you
Thank you sooo much bro😃😃 I could finally solve my first cube(without cheating😈) Great job👍👍👌👌
For anyone struggling to memorise whether to use right or left alg in the first layer corners, you can always just put it on the right above the slot and then only use the right alg, it will just take longer. Also, another reason you may only have 1 or 3 edges flipped correctly in the yellow cross is because you have not finished second layer. 100% MAKE SURE that that is not the case before you consider taking your cube apart. (*sighs* why did the cubing community have to call it the "sexy move", we'll just have to keep renaming it to righty alg forever...)

Actually you can’t have two corners in the correct spot, because think about it. The bottom corners are solved, and you are adding the two corners, plus all of the edges, which means the last two corners are swapped. The only way you can have two corners solved is if you messed up a prior step

@@ActualDumBatcha Oh yep, got confused with the beginner method I learnt. As long as the edges are solved, 2 corners cannot happen
Bro this guys helped me solve my first rubix cube without any help if anyone sees this video and gives up don’t give up and keep trying and try to remember all the algorithms
Thank you very very much I have been trying to solve cubes for 2 years but this video help me so much thank you very much
