Quick correction. The Wehrmacht was apolitical. They were Not NAZI's. Maybe an officer or two but the SS were the Nazi Party types. But I think you are more about games than history so I'll enjoy your expert ability to explain games to just about anybody

John, just a point of clarification. It wasn't just "an officer or two." A significant % of the Wehrmacht were NAZIs. Estimates as of 1941 placed the % of officers at about 30%, and party affiliation grew after 1941. There is a pervasive "clean army" myth with the Wehrmacht that has been largely debunked through research in the last couple decades. There is ample evidence linking Wehrmacht to being complicit in the holocaust and other atrocities. So while it's incorrect to refer to all members of the Wehrmacht as NAZIs, it's very dangerous to perpetuate the clean army myth. Dr. D definitely knows her history. During her PhD studies she specialized in Roman history and is an expert in Latin. She has more historical expertise in her pinky than I'll ever have!

​@David Thompson brilliant explanation. I was wondering in the game caslte itter if a wall defense value is strong (as opposed to zero value) if an SS reaches said wall do they immediately breach or wait until wall defense value has fallen to zero?
