hey guys, check out some simple tips to get your snap on the concrete waves !

    Concise and effective breakdown. Just began snaps earlier today, albeit by pure accident. Now after watching this I'll push myself just a little harder next time by using the mechanics in the vid. What I especially like is the surfer's posture you have which is distinct from more traditional skateboarding. More flowy and fluid. I don't think I can go back to longboarding after this lol..

    Great video thanks! Quick one, when I put my weight to the and that I push hard on my back foot i most of the time end up doing a snap but a snap that doesn't stop... any tips? How do you stop to snap yo arrive at the timing of doing the squat? Thanks a lot

    Great tips man, looks so smooth! Do you think it's possibile to snap also with Carver's concave wheels? They seem to have too much grip for this stuff

    Indeed i love the concave shape for its grip, despite it breaking easily on the edges. I had no problem sliding with them ( that's what i am using in this video)

    @@shanelai2515 I highly recommend the Smoothstar Felipe Toledo 77. It is an incredibly realistic surf trainer.

    Great video! Are you using Carver’s stock Roundhouse wheels or something else? I’ve been working on this technique, but the Roundhouse wheels seem to grip too hard to get fully perpendicular to my original direction of travel.

    Yes stock wheels. I know right, it's very grippy. I was pushing really hard. But stay tuned. New 'how to snap' video dropping real soon

    How much of the snap depends on shifting weight forward versus pushing hard with the back foot?

    most of your weight should be forward. but too much and you might be off balance. it's all about experimenting

    You shaild lean to surf so you can perfect these moves because it is slots harder on a surfboard

    this slide is not looking good haha 1:28 but 0:43 is the sample for sliding on purpose and it was not natural.
