I just got the Meepo Voyager. I’ve been riding skateboards and longboards since I was 10 - I am now 31, so I like to think I’m pretty experienced. However, this eboard is hard as hell to turn! A sharp turn in a trail could mean jumping off, which is a bummer. That’s how I stumbled upon your video. I figured I should learn to slide around corners rather than just lean.

This tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. And the video was well shot and explained. Thanks for creating it.

Hey Ronnie, I appreciate your vids. I'm a 56yo guy. I have always wanted an electric skateboard. Well i finally pulled the trigger and bought a barely used HIBOY just a few weeks ago. Dual 250w motors. This thing is like a dream come true. To not have to push everywhere is AWESOME !!! I haven't tried sliding yet but after watching your vid I'm gonna try it. Thanks again, Steve

wearing off the skin of new wheels will also help btw, also you should try pre-drifting into corners

i would say depends on the urethane. Very Hard new urethane is predistined to be very slidey

@@olidonbello there is a layer of skin on every wheel unless it's stone ground. Breaking in wheels is a big thing in downhill skating

Smaller less gummy wheels are definitely easier when it comes to breaking traction and initiating the slide

Great video! Quick tech question, but what camera and selfie stick are you using?

esk8 beginner here: would reversing momentum hurts the motors? how's the power control when sliding?

Can you slide with the 120mm or do you not recommend it I assume it's just a waste of thread so stocks are better

Great vid man, what about throttle? Keep it on into the slide then drop it off? Or drop the throttle at the beginning of the slide?

@@RonnieSarmiento I know you can do pendys, just give them a try. It can be done on flat since we have motors. If you have reverse then after the 180 slide slam reverse, and pendy out. SUPER SUPER FUN, and 110% possible on flat with esk8.

the meepo mini 2 wheels are almost like rubber instead of plastic, so they dont slide well

These re RKP trucks, right?

Is it possible to break the traction accelerating?

😅 That’s my board! I just spray painted the removable covers in the back and sprayed the rim of the front tires. Sticker bombed also
