Fantastic video. Slap tongue is one of the things that has given me the most problems over the years. My problem is that every time I do a slap, I get a lot of saliva in my mouthpiece causing my tone quality to suffer. I think I’m just using too much tongue and I need to train myself to use less.

I came here because I'm composing a wind ensemble piece with 4 saxes that would use a lot slap tongue technique. Didn't expect that I'd come across such a fun video. I will be using your channel to learn all the techniques I can for saxophone and also enjoy your performances. Thanks for the video!

好快的速度 又可以学习了 。。。我想问的是为什么在练习的超吹时候，我吹either就有可能吹出来 但是换成synthetic就总是吹奏不出，这是一直困扰我的问题 最新的那款笛头怎么样？虽让说每个人的使用的笛头都不一样 这款笛头也不一定适合所有人 但是我还是有朋友买到 说很不错 所以我也产生的很多的问题 这款笛头适合selmer 803 型号的萨克斯吗？因为我看见 弯脖和笛头接触的很往后 都快到了弯勃软木的边缘.

synthetic reed它在高音区域的performance的确和cane reeds不一样。刚开始会觉得很困难，并且声音很小，很炸。需要在上面下功夫，比如练习很多的长音练习。先尝试用吹音阶的方法帮助吹到高音，之后再isolate到每一个音，先用气attach，之后再加舌头。慢慢来，不要急。 新的Delangle笛头很不错，并且非常适合Selmer 803。弯脖和笛头的位置是根据每个弯脖决定的，每一只放的位置都不一样。它的口风比Concept稍大点。推荐你可以试试！

I have problems with slap tonguing , I can't do it , I can't seem to get the suction on any reed or spoon..... any tips?

Hello! Try to do the suction of your tongue on your upper palate with producing the sound (like slap sound). Give me know if it helps!
