Being both a skater, and a snowboarder, I really like how the 'frontside/backside' were explained in surfing terms, but with great clarity! Also, being an Instructor/Coach, I think that Omar used the great movement ideals to get his point across. Of course, I could use other adjectives for describing moves, but his sense of stance, and timing, are clear here. Nicely done, and I'll show this to my twins (now 9, and both he+she skate!) for a 'how to' for bowlriding. Thanks Mr. Hassan!! "PSR"

Thanks for the video! One thing i would like to ask is are loose trucks essential ? Mine aren't very loose as i feel more balanced but maybe that stops me from being able to get a more rounded calve ?

frontside is definitely more sketchy, I remember trying a frontside kick turn first time and I totally ate shit! backside is so much easier for some reason.

I would like to build a skate the same characteristics as that used in the video. Could anyone advise me? I am tall and some years already! I have 37 years, I measure 1.84 and weight 84 kg. Any recommendations on how to assemble my skate? Thank you very much

Is doing a wheelie required or does it make it easier when doing the grinds, rather than, having both trucks on the rail?...........

I'm better at frontside on flatwall. I can carry my pumps farther through and gain more speed from it. I can do frontside carves on some round walls like clam shells and pool deep ends but that's about it
