I’m not sure if I should take a gap semester for a good few months to see if I full recover. I’m not sure if I have the facet joint syndrome or not or really bad sprain.

Hi V - I feel for you, I have an L5-S1 herniated disc with the butt/leg pain and a little foot numbness. You get better, then you have those "flares" as you describe. I've changed my work environment so I mostly stand, but sometimes will close my office door & lay on the floor with a laptop to work. Sitting is so difficult & driving is just the worst. The butt/glute pain is so bad, it brings me to tears at times when I get out of the car. My back doesn't hurt when I sit - it's the glute pain that is just torture. The best thing I've found to help in the car is a Purple seat cushion & a Pandaspillow lumbar support, but sometimes those don't cut it either when I'm flaring. Last night, my husband got home & nonchalantly said "It feels so good to sit down," and it made me so sad, hoping I'll be able to say that again one day. It's really awful to not be able to sit, but my neurosurgeon and rehab doctors tell me it's possible to heal from this without surgery, to be patient, to do my exercises - so I'm keeping the faith and looking for any tips I can find. Bob & Brad's channel has been a big help, and their humor helps me keep my spirits up. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I need to get my life back, this is getting me more depressed than I am, plus being indoors from the shutdown. I’m alone so it’s difficult. My MRI is next week I hope. I hope you get better soon too.

@@Vic72075 Try to keep moving, even if it's just walking. My neurosurgeon wanted me to start swimming, but with everything going on, I didn't get to join the gym to get started. He says it's important to keep moving, so try to get your steps in if nothing else. It really is depressing to not be able to sit - I tell my doctor this gives new meaning to the term "a pain in my ass." There's so many things you avoid doing when you can't sit. Hoping you and I both get some healing & relief soon. Take care.

Okay you have made a mistake huge mistake I'm sure you are not considering people's height are you because I short chair for somebody else who is 6ft 2 might not be a short chair for somebody who's 5 feet so this chairs fit all what do you mean what is considered short chair? I think it's better to explain where your knees should be or the angle degrees your legs should be angled if that makes sense instead of saying short chairs not good for you what does that actually mean individually for each person since there are people who are 4ft 11in some who are 6-foot I am 5ft and I'm having an extremely hard time finding a good chair there are chairs out there that say this is the best chair there's even a million-dollar chair but the same question remains one-size-fits-all this expensive chairs are made for whom what height is the person because a 6-foot tall man has a longer back longer legs than let's see me who's 5 feet
