Thank you all for checking out this 4 part Bluefin Tuna series (part 4 will be released soon). You can check out the entire series here - kzread.info/head/PLsz2XMNXn3k-JN6wAmqJZ9VbzFvvT4MsJ
I just wanted to say this series of videos for Bluefin are among the best on line. Anthony does a great job at covering the bases not only covering the How but the Why's. I will suggest using the San Diego knot, I have been using it for over 30+ years and has never failed me. Those of you who have never been to Save On Tackle, well your missing out! Again great job young man!

Thank for such a kind and thoughtful comment and thank you for sharing your experience with the SD knot. I'm finally gaining confidence to tie it better and faster...fantastic knot for sure. And agreed, Sav On is terrific!!

Oh man I hope you get down here and get into a bite. Lots of grinding but once the boat finds em it is so much fun. I recommend getting on a 1.5 day if possible.
Thanks for Tuna'ing, guys - what a great pun!
That guy Anthony is one amazing person 😂😂😂😂
Seeing you still doing the charters for the people
What size rubber bangs are best?
been really waiting for this one! I saw that lately, people were using 100lb sinker rigs, at that point, would you even need flourocarbon since the line is so big?

What's up Victor! You're right, no practical need for fluoro when you're dropping down that deep and targeting big ones. At that point, the only reason to have it on there is for the abrasion resistance and to utilize the connection for stopping your sinker.
Thank you, Benjie, appreciate the info. What boat are you planning to charter in September? I have a limited load booked on the "Success" in SD.

I chartered the Vendetta 2 out of H&M for both this Sunday and September, both full days. Crossing my fingers for good conditions!

much love to you chance!! always, always appreciate your encouragement brotha!
Benji i noticed your boy alex mention that once the sinker is inline it wont helicopter….. in my experience thats what makes the bait and hook helicopter “unless” you let the bait out very slowly. Thats the MOST important part. Also using more than one sinker is not a good idea !! Ive seen people do two 6 oz weights and it just doesnt work as well. Good luck everyone
Yo Anthony 🤙
Why not use rubber core sinkers? Is it that they don't come in large enough sizes?
@BenjieKimFishing
2 жыл бұрын
That's a good question and I'm honestly not sure, might be the size issue like you mention, or I wonder if there's any abrasion when attaching a rubber core. I'll ask Anthony next time I get the chance!
Any sales coming up in store?

Not that I'm aware of. However, if you go into the shop and tell Anthony you're there cuz of this video, he might help you out a bit. No promises and nothing formal though!
Definitely need fluoro top shot just because tuna have really good eyes 👀👀
What reel would you suggest for flyline fishing.

You could do a Shimano torium 16hg or a Okuma Tesoro 15 and for spinning you could do a Shimano Saragosa 14k or an Okuma cedros 8k
you guys dont use swivels?
Is Anthony still with the company?
Why don't we just Carolina rig this??
I used to love fishing for tuna but now it's only for the rich!! Good job California, your halfway to banning fishing in California!!!
Yall talk to much. Just get straight to the point ffs
