Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and love to you all. :)

Holly, You got this! I very much love your assertion that you are taking back control of your destiny despite the vicissitudes of life! Update me from time to time. I want to know how you are doing! Also, consider checking with the Department of Rehabilitation Services in your state. If employment retraining is an option they can help pay for training (including ASL) depending on financial need. Also consider checking into SSI or SSDI (if you haven't already) if you are in need of financial support. I tried to make a fluttery finger handshape story and ended up with something beautiful, but diverging from the handshape limitations, totally worth it though~ Definitely trying to fit with limitations makes me think in new ways, subsets of signs, that~

Oh, is it a form of co-articulation to sign along the boundary of two signs, spatially, to invoke the meaning of both, simultaneously? This happens every once in a while, recently as I signed "cloud", I also signed "condense" at the same time, then, when hands meet, flung its water to the ground, it said exactly what I wanted, inflections are fun~

Hello @sign-language I work at a Deaf School in New Zealand and one of our Deaf Teachers is really interested in the setup you use for your videos. Are you able to tell us what size screen you are using (is it a computer monitor or TV?), what brand/model is the stand you are using, what camera you would prefer to use and what app you use to display the text? We would really appreciate any information you can provide. It's a great setup with two people presenting.
