Another great video with tips applicable for multiple types of procedures.Have a loved one with upcoming surgery- not related to mastectomy- and this gave me good info about things that are important but not necessarily your first thought after surgery: like reg size towels being heavy or the on/off valve for the shower heads that don’t have one. You always have the best product recommendations and I think the flexible scrubber is a great idea following surgery or just for older or limited mobility people.

Where can I buy your shower scrubber?

I am 70yo and have very limited movement with having both shoulders replaced. I really cant bathe nor wash my hair. Atleast i haven't fallen in the tub in 4 months. Please put a list of the back/hair scrubber also i need an aid to put on shirts. Than you.

I am soo scared to shower & terrified not to. I have a drain, they removed some of the bandaging on the outside, but I am still not sure if I can shower with what’s left & I am miserable. I also feel like I am not given enough thorough & clear instructions & keep having to call for little but important bits of information ☹️

The elephant in that room that wasn’t covered but is present in so many normal baths is how does one get into then out of that tub? With upper body restrictions, there is nothing visible to enable stability in transferring to and from that tub. I had a shattered femur and a 4” lip to cross into a flat floor shower (not a tub). We had a wider than usual shower seat that my wife set straddling that lip. I sat on the seat, lifted my legs over the sill and stood up while she moved the seat fully into the shower for me to use. We do have grab bars in the shower that I used when I stood up to use the wand to rinse. There may be temporary suction bars that maybe safe enough to use in showers like this that haven’t had permanent bars installed. Your video wasn’t focused on the full shower process and you may have covered these topics elsewhere. Your suggestion to use the smaller towel didn’t occur to me and I would encourage the use of two or three of them to anyone needing your process because those smaller towels are much lighter than a full bath towel. Excellent ideas.

There is too much of this going on. All these people have breast cancer? Its like when i was a kid in the 60s and everyone had their tonsils out. Now you dont hear about it. If you r having pain after mastectomy someone didnt do something right. And i had one so i know.
