HOW TO: Showa Shock Oil Change & Servicing (2018 CRF450r)

Back again with another video showing you guys how I change the oil and service the Showa 50mm piggyback shock that come on the 2017 and up crf450s! This definitely isn't all that difficult and if you follow the way I do it in this video it will be a lot easier than what your manual says to do!
I'm still back home in Virginia on vacation but I got a bunch of new content coming as soon as I get back!

Dude I had that exact issue while bleeding. Got oil all over the service manual and my favorite jacket, haha. That seems like a way more efficient way to bleed and fill it. Thanks

Just some tips. Clean out rod seal area before pulling out seal and piston assembly, to avoid getting contamination and damaging parts of shock. Race tech recommends 165psi in bladder but that is for their valving, you will find on most new shocks the pressure is lower at like 120-150psi.

Fair enough about the cleaning before removal, as for psi I have always done 165 for all bikes.
