I have been learning Turkish for 2 years and i know turkish rn. You can't learn just by watching videos. You should also learn grammar. You should watch movies and TV series. spare time for Turkish every day for 30-60 minutes. (İyi günler)

Can you do a video about postpositions? I'm trying to teach myself Turkish in english (I am actually Italian) and something that I find is very confusing is that sometimes "e" is pronounced as "a", for exemple I've heard people pronounce "eller" as if it was written "ellar", is there a rule or a reason?

correct spelling "eller" .ellar has no meaning in Turkish.There are two plural suffixes in Turkish, they are "-ler, -lar". It's a bit complicated but you can check it here: turkishbasics.com/grammar/plurals.php#:~:text=The%20plural%20suffixes%20in%20Turkish,will%20be%20followed%20by%20-ler. have a good day.

Thank you for asking this question as I'll take it as an opportunity to tell you and whoever needs to hear my take on this matter. As a senior linguist, a seasoned teacher, and a polyglot myself, I don't believe in perfecting pronunciation in adult learners. I simply don't care or believe in it for the reason it encourages perfectionism. Perfectionism, in my view, is the enemy of progress. Sure, you may want things to be perfect and strive to get there but the progress is seen in the effort to reach the goal but not in the goal itself. If you are so high up in the proficiency scale in any language you're learning, I may humbly suggest that you go take the time and energy and put it in learning sophisticated vocabulary, complex grammar, advance presentation skills, and so forth. I am a non-native speaker of English, and I speak English with a non-native accent and am okay with it. Never have I had a goal in my life that required English and I couldn't achieve it because of my accent. I guess, the bottomline is, I am more of a practical person when it comes to learning and speaking languages than a theorist or perfectionist. Having said that, you may have your personal reasons or completely disagree with my proposition, and I respect that.
