When I´d decided to start learning turkish I´ve been introduced to your channel, especially to your "50 phrases you need to know" videos by a turkish friend living in Ankara. I bought a textbook for turkish language published by a well known company for foreign languages here in Germany at the same time. What can I say? I´ve learned more from your 5-10min videos than the book could ever deliver. Your explanations for any topic of grammar bring it to the point. And once I´ve got how this language works, thanks to your videos, it´s fun to learn :) Çok teşekkür ederim.

Because of the Muslim experience(Southern Spain was under Islamic rule for 700 years,) we also use a word similar to " inşallah" in Spanish. The word is "Ojalá" and it is proounced " O-HA-LA." This word is very common and is used millions of times daily in the Spanish-speaking world and many people have no idea that it comes from Arabic.

Kolay gelsin is extremely common. In fact, when you use it in a store (any kind of store) the person who works there would be extremely happy to see a foreigner wishing them good luck. We use it dozens of times in a day. It is almost replacing "hello and good bye" in a public space. Make sure to use it next time you go out and you will see the smile on people's faces immediately.

Rica ederim, sevgili Ina. I am so glad that you found the videos helpful. I just filmed another video today. It's a listening comprehension exercise. I'll post it as soon as the 50 Phrases series is over.

Lots of love from Pakistan🇵🇰💚
No it's fine, you can keep Inshallah, we use it the same way ;-;
In Canada but dreaming of Turkey :)
Merhabal! I am speaking from Pakistan 🇵🇰 l have watched a Turkish drama known as Dirilis ertughrul and Kurulus osman..... it's in Turkish..... we watch it with urdu subtitles so.... that's why l know a little bit phrases.... and from that time I had a wish to learn Turkish and visit Turkey 🇹🇷

That's wonderful! Keep watching the shows. One can learn a lot from authentic materials.
Ingilizce hazırlık sınavlarım var ama ben şuanda nedensizce bu videoyu izliyorum. Bu arada insanlarımızın bi coğundan güzel türkçe konuşuyosun 😁
Ms Muki I like your way of teaching you really explain well. Can i take online classes to you??
I prefer to keep using the Arabic word's origin,it's beautiful language
Muki, Iwant to tell you I'm appreciated very much, you are the best, you teach as a wonderful teacher.Today is first day I started to learn Turkish and it was a lot helpful. Again thank you.

Merhaba, Jambul. Destegin icin tesekkurler. Gorusmeyeli nasilsin? Her sey yolundadir umarim.
Can you give me tips on how to make turkish statements easier. I know that turkish follows the subject-object-verb format, but its just so hard specially when speaking longer sentences. How do we " think like Turkish", because as of now I think in English then translate it to turkish which takes so much time. 😅

Merhaba! I am from Pakistan 🇵🇰 and i know 7 phrases of this video
Can u make a video for a business conversation
Hello Muki! Your lessons are just what I needed! But, allow me a sugestion. When you show the sentense in Turkish, keep it on screen longer. We keep having to return to wright the sentenc So please show the sentence during the whole time you are explaining the sentence. You do not have to show the translation into English for longer than showing the turkish one. Thanks.

Hello Muki ! Kolay Gelsin! This is a really awesome series of videos, I love all your lessons and you’ve explained it much better than other videos. Tessekur Edirim . I hope I spelled that correctly 😄
Great video, loved it :) also some extra local natural Turkish words: Valla mı? Really? Hadi hadi : Come on ! Fast ! ( impatience) Yok artık! when you don't believe something. Yav he, he. When you hear naggings and when you wanna show that you don't pay any attention
7:30 HAHAha
I hear buyurun a lot when watching Turkish dizis and it's seems they are telling someone to come in. Is that a correct assessment?

Çok teşekkürler! Btw, in Indonesian that "inşallah" (or Insya Allah as we write it) thing we also have that exact same "socio-linguistic" meaning beside the actual meaning 😂

I should have some explanation what the single words mean. I. E. Olsun. That would it make easier to understand the whole phrase or expression.
