Hi Muki, I’m going to live in Turkey (Izmir) next year and I have been learning Turkish through different sources such as KZread videos, Instagram and books for few months. Now I surely admit that you’re the best one and the way you teach is totally different which is above all. Well done! Keep it up. Thank you very much for such a great job you have been doing. It’s so valuable to me.

When I´d decided to start learning turkish I´ve been introduced to your channel, especially to your "50 phrases you need to know" videos by a turkish friend living in Ankara. I bought a textbook for turkish language published by a well known company for foreign languages here in Germany at the same time. What can I say? I´ve learned more from your 5-10min videos than the book could ever deliver. Your explanations for any topic of grammar bring it to the point. And once I´ve got how this language works, thanks to your videos, it´s fun to learn :) Çok teşekkür ederim.

Because of the Muslim experience(Southern Spain was under Islamic rule for 700 years,) we also use a word similar to " inşallah" in Spanish. The word is "Ojalá" and it is proounced " O-HA-LA." This word is very common and is used millions of times daily in the Spanish-speaking world and many people have no idea that it comes from Arabic.

Kolay gelsin is extremely common. In fact, when you use it in a store (any kind of store) the person who works there would be extremely happy to see a foreigner wishing them good luck. We use it dozens of times in a day. It is almost replacing "hello and good bye" in a public space. Make sure to use it next time you go out and you will see the smile on people's faces immediately.

How do we " think like Turkish", because as of now I think in English then translate it to turkish which takes so much time. 😅
