Yeah, i had a guy take me out with his friends, but he didn't claim me and when we went to the club to all dance he kind of ignored me, and started to flirt with some other women. 😏 challenge accepted. He was so pissed by the end of the night...taught his ass a lesson. Don't mess with this scorpio.

Hanging out is one thing. That's friendship. You do have lives. Live them... A serious relationship on the other hand will require you both to put forth an effort to maintain a relationship. No one has to demand and show that you have other options. You have options all the time. You just have to take time to live your lives and incorporate both lives together. If you want to be treated better, then find better. You can't demand better treatment from ones who aren't willing to give it.

I understand this message but when I drop things for a guy it's usually because I actually like him not because I don't have options. I always thought it was pretty obvious that other guys would be trying to get with me too. Do men really think they're the only guy that asked for my number or my attention? When I'm not putting up with a guys crap it's usually because I'm not into him like that and I feel like he has to actually WOW me before I take another step forward with him.

I used to say to him we nvr do anything or go anywhere, however you want me to come over & (chill) have sex.. So I stopped responding to his texts, I stopped making it convenient for him and in return he saw that I took back my power 9n that aspect. So now he calls or texts me to say do you want to hang out or do you want to go to a movie, etc. . Sometimes even if I'm not busy with doing something else I just ignore him just for gp just to let him see that I'm in control and that I do have other options ..Believe me it works..Chaz you hit the nail on the head with this one..

I'm alwayss turning down dates and acting as if options are few because I thought it was being respectful.... It's so true though that's it's taken for granted. Hmm

Same... i had someone ask me to be their gf, give me a key to their apartment and send flowers to my house on vday as a surpise. And this guy was just a friend. I didn't tell my bf out of respect and because he always assumes cheating (i've only been with him since we first hooked up ever). Meanwhile my bf forgot valentines day and even after he remembered didnt take me out and we were together in person... Tbh after that nothing he said could convince me I'm his special woman and I don't see him the same. I think we did get taken for granted by acting as if our options are few. Tbh i did it to save myself from abuse because he punishes me for everything I do that takes away control from him over me. Its really sad because I love him but kinda dont see a point anymore its all just gross. How hard is it to take me out to dinner on valnetines day. I'm thinking hes cheating because he acted soo weird abt his phone last time I was over and didnt want to have sex. I'm just over it, like truly losing that feeling for him because I cant respect someone when they treat me that way and its just always like this, always a reason or excuse but nothing I say is valid.Over it

I like this video. It was short, informative, and one that I will show to my women's empowerment group. The only thing that I would add is that she should actually have options, and not pretend to have options. Actually go out with her friends, pursue a hobby, update her vita/resume, take a class/go back to school, etc. Actually be unavailable, instead of pretending to be unavailable. She'll build her self-worth, be happier with her life, and be more attractive to men because her life does not revolve around her suitors.

I think the purpose of all this is to test the men, not get them to do what you want.....its to eliminate those who don't have good intentions, something you have to do just to protect yourself. Thanks Chazz
