With both eyes I see two sights. As a right eye dominant, I move the left sight on target. Still leaning, but maybe with left eye dominance the right sight is the one on target.

Thank you for this video. This is the third "How to" video I've watched, but it is the only one actually showing how you transition from one eye open to two eyes open, and actually shooting a target as well. Why would these other channels have "How to" videos, but not show your eyes, the sights, and actually shooting? Weird. It's also nice to see a "correct-handed shooter", as I'm correct-handed, left-eye dominant. I am currently researching hand guns for my very first purchase, and I will be trying to transition to both eyes open when I finally start shooting my own gun.

Since 2021, I've shot over 1500 rounds from my Canik TP9, with iron sights. I wear progressive glasses, and it's still a challenge to tighten up my pattern on the target. My sights are "fuzzy" in front, while the target is in focus. If I shoot with one eye closed, I'm pretty good at hitting a close cluster. Nevertheless, I want to master this two-eyed technique. I'll practice at home, with my laser cartridge inserted, while covering my left eye. Maybe, my sight recognition will improve, and become more instinctual.

I would not waste my time, the theory of shooting with both eyes open, is wrong. It makes harder to get hits.

Great video my question is how do I get my optic center in the middle or do it supposed to be in the middle and I am right handed but left dominant and just can’t get my right eye to pick up as fast as my left eye because I really don’t know which way to set my red dot to

Just bring the gun up under your dominant eye, if you're shooting a pistol. Otherwise learn to shoot left handed. I've made a few people learn to shoot lefty with long guns who are right handed but left eye dominant.

Yeah, don’t waste ammo practicing at the range when you can sit home and drive fire just like you shouldn’t waste gasoline learning to drive your car when you can sit on your couch and pretend you’re driving turning a steering wheel and stomping on fake gas and brake pedals

You know, when you’re in a battle situation, such as in the military, there is no aiming at all whatsoever at all not even in the slightest bit none zilch none there is no aiming at all you are running and pulling the trigger and shooting without any aiming at all whatsoever, so this whole thing about shooting with both eyes open versus Eye close is just bull crap
