Great info! I haven’t touched mine up or sharpened it yet. It new and hasn’t fleshed many animals yet but I was hoping to find a way that would work for me. I’ll definitely be trying your technique soon!

Definitely works...sometimes u gotta switch sides and go the other way but it works

I use the full side most the time except for them damn badgers I catch once in awhile, still cant believe naffa went under. Enjoyed your season brotha. HAPPY TRAILS.

i have 2 that i need to sharpen ,a post fleshing knife and weibe 12 inch knife .going to try this on them .

Used a necker for years, then 2 years ago I bought a red handled wiebe, best knife I have ever used, scraped 350 coon, and never sharpened it, still razor sharp. I might have to try a caribou
