How to Sharpen a Knife on a 2x72 grinder
This is the process we use to sharpen our knives on our 2x72 belt grinder.
Start with a 120 grit Aluminum belt, 400 grit, and then a 600 grit belt. Get rid of the burr and polish with a Surgi-Sharp leather belt using pink compound. Hold a consistent angle during the entire process and you will have a hair splitting edge in no time!

Thank you!
I did the same thing not long ago I cut myself on a freshly sharpened it was such a clean cut it closed right up normally this bad of cut would require stitches but I put a bandage on it and it closed right up and healed extremely fast ... this tells me a serrated blade would be best for self defense oh and I dont have one of your knives but I want one bad I just have not been able to afford one lately
I would love to see a video on how you heat treat your knives
Hey really stoked you started a channel! Excited to get a Stroup knife soon :-)

@@stroupknives283 it’s elder man I’m here for support and watching you grow you did great! How about showing how you come up with your designs and maybe what testing you do to hone the final product?
Sweet action. What does a grinder like that set you back?

They range in price depending on the quality you want. The one in this video is around $3200 and worth every penny.
Grinder available now?
What belt are you using now? Its 2023 😉
Weird not seeing a drum set in your setup.
