A simple to make tote bag, with fabulous fabric, a quilted base and contrast binding makes this look quite a striking bag!

Materials:
30" x 7" [76cm x 18cm] fabric for the upper bag
30" x 9" [76cm x 23cm] fabric for the lower bag
30" x 1" [76cm x 2.5cn] fabric for the binding
40" x 8" [102xm x 20cm] fabric for the straps
30" x 6.5" [76cm x 17cm] fabric for the pocket
30" x 15" [76cm x 38cm] fusible fleece [H630]
30" x 16" [76cm x 41cm] lining fabric
Cut:
Two pieces of upper fabric each measuring 15" x 7" [38cm x 18cm]
Two pieces of lower fabric each measuring 15" x 9" [38cm x 23cm]
Two pieces of binding fabric each measuring 15" x 1" [38cm x 2.5"]
Two strap pieces each measuring 40" x 4" [102cm x 10cm]
Two pocket pieces each measuring 15" x 6.5" [38cm x 17cm]

    Love how you make bags etc. How would I put a zip on the top. Also how do you make a bag with a water bottle holder on the side of bag.

    Hi Debbie. I do love your sewing tutorials. The only thing I wish was better is the resolution of the image. The videos are not sharp and clear. I know it is not my computer, as it is a new very good quality Apple.

    Debbie this is lovely my only negative comment is your microphone is a bit scratchy sounding no idea why lots of reverb in places you may want to check your setting
