I can’t tell you how blessed I am to have found your channel!! I was just gifted a little sewing machine and I was having a hard time finding a channel that gave clear instructions on what to do. I made my first sewing project using your clear instructions and I’m so excited to make more draw string bags!!!🥰 thank you so much!! You are amazing!!
Your videos are very instructional and very professional. No background noises that can be distracting.

I am a beginner and have been watching at a lot of tutorials for drawstring bags. I love the way you teach, the way you have recorded it (the lighting & view point used) & the final look of the bag. I have subscribed to your channel straight away after watching it. 👍🏻
All your videos are very precise and easy to follow😊

It is so good to see someone emphasising the importance of pressing and it explains one of the main reasons why your work always looks so beautiful. I am always surprised and worried to watch videos which are meant to be showing people how to sew and they are starting the work with crumpled fabric. How can they even have the pieces cut out accurately when everything is creased?

I agree! Pressing makes all the difference. New sewers need to know that.

Wow, thank you!
This seems the most simplest one so far I have come across. This would totally work as a reversible drawstring bag if it’s turned inside out somewhere else. I’d make this bag but shorten it a little and box the corners. Other videos I watched make it seem so complicated. I just need a couple for small knitting projects I want separated.
I love this tutorial. Thank you again and again.

Thank you for a great tutorial. This is very similar to the way I make my drawstring bags except I don’t use a seam at the bottom and I leave a small opening on one side in the lining and stitch it closed once I have turned the bag right side out. Thank you again for your great tutorial.

How wonderful! So glad you enjoy my videos :)
I love the pattern! I have made these for my Christmas gifts for 2021 for firends and family :) Glad I came across this pattern. Very neat clean and very visual easy steps to follow. I have a question though. Whenever I tuck the material for the inside for the final part, I don't get much of a smooth lay on the inside. Seems to be too much fabric, I do straighten out the inside and press as much as I can, but still fill the bumps. Has anyone figured out the best way to make sure it's not wrinkled on the inside? Thanks!
Hello. I love your videos so much! I was wondering if you have a tutorial for a boho bag with one handle. Thanks

Cool. I love this. How would you put a boxy corner to it ?
@MaryvelFriesen
3 жыл бұрын
You'll have to do that while the bag is still inside out, just before turning and closing.
Just made this again!
What style and name of your iron? Very easy to follow your instructions. Thank u
I live in Jamaica, how can I get your book of tutorials, I love your tutorials

Can you box the bottom of this bag? If so will it make bag smaller.
when you use a patchwork piece for the drawstring bag do you quilt it before ?
@kittyswanson3611
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would quilt the outside to a light batting before assembling the bag. Check out Svetlana's QAYG Panels video.
Svetlana, can you advise how to adjust this pattern to make a round bottom? Thank you

What are the optional side tab ribbons for? You added them at a specific place and they are a specific size. I do not understand their use. >>> I rewatched the video and heard you say "Decorative accent" at 30 seconds in. Sorry for the question.
