How to sew a circle pouch by Debbie Shore

This simple pouch is perfect for cosmetics and sewing notions alike!
Materials needed:
24" x 22" [61cm x 56cm] outer fabric
24" x 22" Vileselene H640 fusible fleece
24" x 24" [6cm x 61cm] lining fabric
24" x 24" Vileselene H200 interfacing [optional]
14" [35cm] zip
Cut:
2 x pieces of outer and lining fabric each measuring 12" x 11" [31cm x 28cm]
Fuse H640 to the wrong sides of the outer pieces
Fuse H200 to the lining pieces if needed [if the fabric needs stabilising]
4 x pieces of lining fabric each measuring 2" x 6" [5cm x 15cm]

    I have one of those seam gauges and never liked using it. Had NO IDEA you could draw circles with it! Love the bag too.

    Lifesaver of a tutorial. I've been using a different technique for clam shell bags I've found is breaking a lot of needles and leaving me with raw edges to bind. Wish I'd known your way right from the off, this is much better! ❤️

    @@marytringale5266 in her material list it says 14 inch zipper. I used a 16 just for easier sewing.

    Well I almost made this. The zip part was tricky and I sewed too close to it and it was a struggle to open and close. I also didn’t catch the seam when I boxed the corners. I tried to correct it but ended up giving it to the bin, but it’s ok I learned a lot and will try again because it a chance to improve and learn new skills

    You are so calm and your voice is so relaxing. I wish the volume was a bit louder, though. I enjoy watching you create such wonderful projects. I have made several of your bags and they are very easy. Love the tutorials. I tend not to watch the live streams. I find the volume too low and I prefer a tutorial-only type of video. Thank you!

    Debbie, thank you for the fantastic tutorial, it is exactly what I've been searching for!!! ... QUESTION: Can the bag be turned right side out & the topstitching around the circular top be sewn "before" completing the boxed corners, so that when the bag is finished & turned right side out agsin, the topstitching is already done, then you sew the lining closed?

    Debbie,at 7.21 of your video (wonderful by the way) there are 2 bags, one on each of your sides, above your shoulders that appear to be 2 toned, with a small handle, May I ask where I can get a copy of that pattern please? Thank you!

    It’s 14” in the supplies list. The little v for seeing information is no longer showing in my KZread. I found just clicking to the right of the title brings it up (maybe clicking on the title, I haven’t tried that).
