Your feature tutorials are super clear - especially for new owners. A couple of advanced pointers: 1. Once you have selected for the mirrors to point downward when driving in reverse you should adjust them a second time in the down position. The default setting won’t necessarily show you the curb or parking lines depending upon your height and seating position. This tip makes that feature much more helpful. Just remember to press “Save” again 2. When washing the car and positioning the mirrors out you should also go to the Service tab and put the windshield wipers in Service Mode. This makes the blades and lower windshield more accessible for cleaning. Otherwise the wipers are tapped below the hood. And Elon didn’t mention the automatic selection of profiles “back in May”. That was in March. But this may not be possible because Bluetooth cannot discriminate distance from the driver’s seat accurately enough to chose the proper driver. He may have to settle for just choosing a primary driver. Sometimes Elon promises something that his engineers can’t deliver yet.

It now has a primary phone feature... but even with it it selects the wrong (non primary) profile some of the time.

You can connect the profiles to the key. Whatever key is used ... the connected profile is automatically selected. Thx for all your videos.

Exactly! Cody, this is something you should add to you last tutorial about key management, i.e. when you create a key, then select a profile for that key, go to the Lock section and tap the matching key in order to connect/pair both, the key and the profile.

I haven't come across any of your video recently but after 16 months with my MYLR I wanted to add my wife as a driver and had no clue how to do it so this one was beyond helpful. Those neck pillows look awesome. I have some but I didn't notice a link for them.

Not a owner yet,hopefully one day but he had responded to a tweet saying it would be bluetooth connect when you enter the seats for I believe before the phones connect to the car so your music or phone calls don't automatically switch to the tesla so I figure adding the profile feature would be easy to add

Great job, how do you keep your white seats clean with car seats?

So whenevere i move the seats or other things and appears that message with "save" ,will save the positions on the profile wich is using in that moment. Right? Wich it has the name there up ,right?

I haven't done that but it wouldn't be a bad idea. They adjust your stuff but never hit "Save" so not really a big deal.

Jim Hesson When in service you can put the car it in Valet Mode to preserve your personal settings and block access to contacts, home location, glove box and frunk. Kind of a moot point because service techs can override anything you do. Even if somebody “messed up” your settings it’s only like 30 seconds to fix it anyway. Just get comfortable and press save

@@donlandau587 if I were referring someone they would have to click on my link and place their order rather than just logging on to Tesla.com to place the order. I found that out the hard way when my friend ordered through Tesla and expected to enter my code somewhere in the process. Didn't work. They should have started the order by clicking on my link: ts.la/russell82865 not starting at Tesla.com If you want to use his link then click on his.

You can link your settings to your phone or card....that way the car recognizes it when you sit and adjusts according...you set it under locks......(edit)...someone beat me to the comment

Ok. So now it's 2021. Does anyone know if the profile activates to that specific driver when they walk up to the car using their cellphone? Or is that a key card feature only?

Im told who ever gets into the car first that's what the car adjusts to.

What a stupid car. To change mirror, screen, to change air direction? screen. Profile? I had it in my 10 years old BMW....
