How do I turn it on mine is not turning or I can’t figure out how to connect it

I didn’t finish setting up there subscription. You don’t have to unless you plan to play your Xbox or PlayStation games. I just downloaded the app and skipped the sign up by just closing the app out and went straight to game play. No monthly charge no subscription.

Yea so what games can u play..I can uus play the free games I could with out it..I dnt have a physical Xbox at the moment but I've had 1 before and it says my accounts are linked with it and I see my old gamer name but it keeps trying get me to pay a dollar

⁠​⁠@@ChristLedwithLeyah this is pretty late and you probably have your answers but the app itself does not have free games for you to play. And you cannot access the app itself unless you activate the free subscription. It just has games that you can purchase from other streaming services or the App Store or google store (depending on which phone you have) Based on my experience, yes you do have to pay to be able to play your PlayStation games on your phone via the app. The app is just a hub to link all other consoles available and be able to play games usually equipped for only consoles or pc to be playable on your phone. The yearly subscription is for you to be able to play your console games on your phone. Other than that you can use the backbone free of charge to play on mobile games that support controllers. Like Call of duty mobile, Genshin etc. The way it works is you open a mobile game that supports controllers and you just pop the backbone on. You don’t have to open the app to use the backbone, you can just exit the app and go open a game you want to play. I believe that’s what the user above meant by going “straight to game play”

I've just Ordered one of these. I only want it to remotely play games I already own on my PS5 and Xbox consoles, but I don't have Subscriptions for either consoles. Please tell me I don't need to subscribe in order to remotely play my own games?

Still can’t set it up. When it goes to ask me to Sign in with Apple or google it just says “Server Error” cannot retrieve your user information…. the games you play probably dont have controller support

So...long story short. This is by far the best mobile gaming controller I've ever used. For some reason, whenever I go to plug the controller port into my phone, the little light around the backbone symbol doesn't light up. I've cleaned out my charging port on my phone and it still doesn't want to go through. Any thoughts? 🤞🤞

No you don't need to have the console. There are certain games which are exclusive to the backbone itself. However if you wanted to use the backbone as an additional controller or do "remote play" then yes you would need the console for that as your backbone would need to feed off the wi-fi and be connected to your console for that.

That’s what I’m saying I bought the thing but I can’t use in app purchases so there’s nothing I can do to use it

It’s a waste of money I know it looks cool but don’t be fooled by it, £100 up front then another 35:99 a year just play ur own games. The Tech is good but the design of the controller, I find all games unplayable and when I am finally on there’s nothing but crashes and glitches. I gave up with it time to sell it.
